Ever since 11.3 beta 1 my Apple Pay hasn't been working on my iPhone X. I use double click to open, it validates with FaceID but then when I hold it near the contactless on the machine nothing happens no matter how I hold the phone. Anyone experienced this or know a fix? Thanks.

I kept asking around here asking if performance was improved, especially with animations, and not much was said. I decided to bite the bullet and update to 11.3 beta 2.

Performance is surprisingly good, but still not great.

My main gripes with iOS 11 performance are now fixed, pinching to close is smooth, and the app switcher is very smooth as well.

Opening and closing apps is faster and smoother than it was on iOS 11.0-11.1 (that's what I tried before downgrading) but still a little worse than iOS 10.3.3. It's tolerable now though and generally pretty good. Animation doesn't skip as much when leaving apps, but still does. This happened still on iOS 10.3.3 though so.

"Viewing" notifications and then swiping them down to dismiss is still choppy, this used to be smoother on iOS 10. I can live with this though, you don't use it as much as the app switcher.

Cover sheet is fairly smooth actually if you don't have notifications. Once there's notifications though, it can be kinda choppy. Still better than it used to be though.

Overall I'd say 11.3 makes this iPad usable again and I'm happy I updated.

[Question] Restoring iPhone 11.3 B2

Wanted to downgrade to iOS 11.2.5 but itunes quickly did a back up before i could stop it. So I now have a full back up on iTunes from 11.3 b2 and when I try to restore from that back up (iPhone is back on 11.3 but completely blank) iTunes gives an error of "can not read or write from iphone". Anyway to resolve this?
