How do I turn this off? Since the newest OS if I play any music on my phone, or am watching a video, then close the phone, even if I stop the playing media when I check my watch it stays on the “now playing” screen until I manually close it.

Would this be a good idea? I would love to have a place where we can go and get band ideas/reviews/pictures. I know there's a huge party of us looking for 3rd party bands and Amazon reviews can't always be trusted. I know myself that I've been searching for a sports band thats comparable to Apple's. Everything on Amazon is a little too cheap but 50 dollars is steep.

Hi! I use an Apple Watch Sport Band, and I always have done, I'm looking to get an official new one from the Apple Store, and I'm wondering if you have any suggestion.

I like the look of the new Sport Loop, however I would like to know how it is during running, walking and sweat, even water compared to the Sport Band.

I noticed in my last few running workouts with using just my watch without my phone, it does not show my heart rate chart after the workout. I undid the setting to turn off heart rate monitoring during work out to save battery. (So monitoring is on)

[Discussion] The Red Crown and the Stainless Steel Apple Watch.

Discussion time.

I really cant help but feel that the S3 Red Crown pairs the worst with the Stainless Steel Watch, along with the SBSS (which reminds me of a redback spider). I've seen what it looks like on the Sport Watch and tbh, I think it actually complements the gadget-like look of said watch pretty well.

But thats the thing. When I look at the S3 SS Watch, the Red Crown distracts from the natural "beauty" of the SS Watch, I feel. You see, when the S0 SS came out, I feel like a lot of design and thought went into the original black dot. It matched the screen, and it also was subtle, allowing you to focus on the material of the Watch and how its supposed to resemble a traditional watch. And likewise, the S0/S2 SBSS, how it was a completely seamless, glossy look.

Unfortunately, I feel the Red Crown makes the SS Watch (from the angle you see it) look more like a computer strapped to your wrist compared to an actual wrist watch. And I wouldn't have a problem with this if they didnt make LTE compulsory for the S3 SS watch and S2 basically doesnt exist anymore, so good job Apple. You really stuffed up with this.

Alternatives to Apple Heart Study?

I am not old enough to participate in the Apple Heart Study app. It only allows 22 and older. Are there any alternatives to this app that offer the same features or something alike? Thanks in advance!

Apple Watch series 1 38mm Space Gray sport band

I'm getting the watch brand new from Walmart today for $180~ I've been price matching and watching like a hawk and finally found the best deal in my area.

I'll be picking it up shortly so any and all advice on set up and such will be much appreciated!

One of my jobs allows me to be at home and I get paged through text message day or night and I have response times I am required to meet. During the night I have no problems as my watch is usually on charge however during the day I frequently miss alerts as I believe I have become too accustom to the vibrations and can miss the sound of my watch. I have looked around but have found no answer. Is there a way that I can get alerts on both my apple watch and iPhone? Without disconnecting my phone from my watch while wearing it.
