| Posted: 15 Feb 2018 07:35 PM PST Just got my Apple TV 4K today from the directv now promotion. I just started watching a show on Netflix in 4K. I can't tell if it's dropping frames or what but it's very annoying. Image looks great but it almost seems like it's shaky. Sort of making me feel sick at times. I was just watching this same show with my Roku Ultra and it plays flawlessly in 4K. Same settings on the tv (unplugged the Roku and put it in another room). Can anyone give me some advice? Is the Apple TV trying to change the frame rate or something. I don't have any motion enhancements or anything like that turned on the tv. Show I am watching is Breaking Bad. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 15 Feb 2018 10:28 PM PST I have been using the NHL app on Apple TV for 3 years now. I have never once had an issue other than the occasional stutter in streaming. As of the last few month, everytime I turn the NHL app on, it will not play sound. Sometimes it starts playing randomly, sometimes it only plays in silence. I have not experienced this in any other apps on the Apple TV or viewing the NHL app on any other platform. I have deleted and brought the App back but to no solution. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 15 Feb 2018 04:32 PM PST We downloaded Just Dance Now to play with the kids. It says there are supposed to be free songs, but I don't see any. Does anyone know whether they're hidden somewhere? Or how to find them? It gives me 200 coins/day on the Apple TV's account and another 200 coins/day on the iPhone's account, but I can't find any way to actually spend the iPhone's coins. It only lets the Apple TV's account choose songs. Does anyone know how I can spend the phone's coins? My kids really enjoy playing Just Dance, but it's frustrating only getting to dance along to two songs per day. [link] [comments]  | ||

I did that earlier this week and have not received any email or anything regarding it, I do have access to the service but haven't heard anything about them sending the Apple TV. | Posted: 15 Feb 2018 10:39 AM PST I've got iPhone X and AppleTV 4th gen. After entering the code to pair my phone the app crashes. Then when relaunching it is shown as a paired device but when I try to connect it says "Can't connect to AppleTv". Both are running latest non-beta versions available. I've tried the following: -Deleting and reinstalling the app -Rebooting both, my phone and AppleTV -Rebooting router -Unpairing and pairing again which leads to the crash of remote app and back to the connection issue. I have 3rd gen AppleTV as well and that connection works perfectly fine via the same phone and same app. I haven't done a factory reset for my AppleTV since that would be the last resort and can't see that as a solution since it seems to be more likely the app related issue on my phone. AppleTV is connected via ethernet and my phone obviously on my home Wifi. This used to work on my previous phone (iPhone 7) just fine with this very same configuration and home network. | 4k movies missing or downgrade? Posted: 15 Feb 2018 09:47 AM PST Bought an Apple 4k tv a couple of days ago for my oled. Everything is updated, and my collection was transferred over with the label of 4K on them. But when I streams, the info reads hd. Bought justice league yesterday, and that streams in 4k, and some paramount (transformers) movies stream in 4k, but the rest of my 90 "4k" movies are streaming in Hd, while labeled as 4k on the cover art. When I look at my collection on my phone (Apple TV app), everything reads HD. Hardwired connection, 100mbs, 4k is streaming on select titles. Settings is set to 4k SDR 60hrz. Forbes had an article on missing 4k movies that were downgraded. Called Apple support and they talked to me like I was crazy. Anyone else have this issue.?
