Activity Data being combined from 2 different watches Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:01 AM PST My wife and I both have iPhone and Apple Watches. Each only paired to our respective phones. Somehow our activity data is being synced and combined on our phones and watches. This seems to be a new issue, although I don't know exactly what OS version it started happening. I'm sure someone's seen this before. Thanks for the help. [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Feb 2018 05:29 AM PST One of my favorite features of the airpods is being able to leave my phone in my car and just stream music from my watch. No worries about my phone falling out of my pocket at the gym and breaking. So yesterday I was able to do that, once I got out of range of my phone I was able to switch over my airpods to my watch. Later that day I wanted to leave my phone in my house on my charger, but since I was doing yard work I wanted to sync it back up to my watch and it would not let me. It kept saying there was a problem connecting, but if I go under bluetooth on the watch they are connected. The same thing happened at the gym today. It worked but once I stopped playing music it asked me where I wanted to airplay, I picked my airpods and it said it couldn't connect. Any ideas of the sequence for this to work ? is there a way to record Apple Watch directly to desktop, live? Posted: 19 Feb 2018 07:58 PM PST I'm trying to push my Nike RunClub screen to my desktop so that I can stream it live via OBS Studio alongside my regular VR fitness sessions. The main issue that I'm having is figuring out a way to cast my Apple Watch, or even cast any of the data from my Apple Watch, in such a way that it's showing up (live) on my desktop. It doesn't need to be Nike RunClub, but I want people viewing my livestreams to be able to see the metadata that the Apple Watch is recording (bpm, calories burnt, total time, avg bpm, etc) live. Is this possible with the Apple Watch? [link] [comments]
Q: Possible to review daily Move calories achieved over time? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 02:32 AM PST Got an Apple Watch in December, and for the first time in my life I'm exercising daily -- my all activity streak is at 64 days so far. :) I'd like to be able to review the actual number of Move calories tracked daily over time, preferably as a plot. I'm not a fan of gradually raising the daily Move goal as recommended each week, because real life sometimes intervenes and it becomes an unpleasant struggle on days after I've worked 30+ hour shifts. I'd rather keep my Move goal at a 'moderate' level that I can always achieve, but to look at a plot over time and aim for upward trends, rather than streak days achieving an absolute number. Is there some place that I haven't found that would display this? Apologies if I'm missing something obvious. [link] [comments]

One of the most frustrating aspects of the watch Posted: 19 Feb 2018 07:36 PM PST I will never understand this. Why doesn't every single watch app have the ability to be put into your watch face? It makes a lot of apps for me unusable - if I can't access it with one tap and need to go digging through my list of apps I'm probably not going to use it much. I think I've read that it's up to the developer? Why doesn't Apple make that a requirement? I'd say only 10% of the apps I have can be put into the watch face. [link] [comments]

Facebook Messenger Doesn't Work Posted: 19 Feb 2018 03:00 PM PST Does anyone else have the problem of Facebook Messenger not loading on Apple Watch? I know the whole trick of changing your default replies and stuff and that seems to work temporarily but it's never a permanent fix. I've tried every combination of uninstalling and every combination of reinstalling and nothing seems to work. All online articles about this issue seem to be really old, so is this not a problem for anyone else? Thanks in advance for any help! [link] [comments]

Am I missing something with Apple Music and the watch? Posted: 19 Feb 2018 06:22 PM PST I was a spotify user but once I got my watch I decided to jump to Apple music so I could browse my library and stuff from the watch. But it seems to be kind of confusing and I just want to see if I am understanding it right. So, launching the Apple Music app on my watch is completey separate from having the Apple Music app on my phone. What I do on my watch has no impact on what I am playing on my phone. This was kind of surprise. So, in other words, I can't start a playlist on my phone, and then open the app on my watch and see that same playlist open. It is a completely independent instance of Apple Music and I have to browse through to the playlist on my watch at that point. Right? Or am I wrong? I do see the ability to pause, skip and go back on what is currently playing on my phone, but this is limited just like it is with Spotify until I open the Music app on the watch. And that brings me to the other issue. Since it is an independent instance of Apple Music, that means my bluetooth headphones must stop being connected to my phone and connect to my watch in order to listen to what I am playing on the watch, right? Which seems to be a mess in and of itself because I can't for the life of me get my headphones to play what is on my watch. It says the bluetooth will connect, but then it asks me to select the device I want to play the music on and its it fails to connect. Anyway, sorry. I am just complaining. I paid for a month of Apple Music and was excited to use it with my watch and phone and have a nice seamless experience, but it isn't very nice at all. I think I will just stick with Spotify unless someone can tell me something I am missing. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Feb 2018 09:47 PM PST So my model MJ3T2LL/A screen detached today. I got it as a gift 1.5 years ago so not sure on warranty and definitely no AppleCare. Any idea how much Apple would charge to fix? Should I try to DIY it? Any thoughts/suggestions welcome! [link] [comments]
Any way to know when Apple releases new Woven Nylon colors? Posted: 19 Feb 2018 08:54 PM PST I picked up a new Woven Nylon band the other day at Apple. While talking to the guy, i discovered a color i have isn't available anymore. He says they come out with new ones randomly. I don't wanna miss a cool color!! In particular, a green one. How do i know when a new color is out? I don't think i saw any posts on here announcing them. Edit: Found this link I wish i could get some of those colors again. I like a lot of them. I have the yellow one. I just picked up a blue one the other day. Pretty normal but i like the funky colors. [link] [comments] |
