Garageband taking up an insane amount of space Posted: 13 Jan 2018 08:56 PM PST Hey guys, Right now my computer is reporting Garageband as taking up 8 gb of space on my computer? I've deleted most of the things that it says to on forums. [link] [comments]
Not enough Disk space in an encrypted .dmg file Posted: 13 Jan 2018 08:36 PM PST I created an encrypted disk image to store files in it. When I tried to add a new folder in it, it says there's not enough disk space, even though I have over 180gb free. (The encrypted disk has 70 gb of data in it and I could add folders to it before) [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2018 06:48 AM PST As the title asks. Is it possible to get a log/transcript of all my conversations with a certain user on iMessage (I use iMessage on an iMac not on iPhone)? The reason is because I lost my stepdad today and I've been going through our messages. They're giving me happy memories so if possible I'd like to print these off, and turn them into a book. Is this possible at all? I'll try anything at all. [link] [comments]
CMD + TAB doesn't switch to application Posted: 13 Jan 2018 12:33 PM PST Anyone else run into this? Is this another bug or am I missing a setting somewhere? Running macOS 10.12.6 with all updates installed. [link] [comments]
High Sierra Issues Continue to Persist. Any Suggestions? Posted: 13 Jan 2018 01:12 PM PST Good afternoon everyone, Since I own a mid 2015 MacBook Pro (15 inch, 2.2 GHz I7, 16gb RAM, 250GB SSD). Since My initial update to High Sierra, I've had this issue where my machine will crash and restart constantly while hibernating. when I want to use my pro, it will be very hot to the touch and I'll receive an error message that my mac shutdown unexpectedly. I was hoping that the update to 10.13.2 would fix this but it has not. has anyone continued to experience this issue post update? any tips to fix this? Thanks for taking the time to read this! What is the best way to install MacOS 10.7 on a virtual machine for testing purposes? Posted: 13 Jan 2018 12:18 PM PST As an app dev I need to test my app on version 10.7 on MacOS. What is the most convenient and effective way to set this up? Is there some guide? Where can I get the previous MacOS versions to install? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Jan 2018 09:45 AM PST Today I wanted to delete Steam from my MacBook, but after that I noticed there is a lot of folders from previous games hidden between the files... Just dragging the app from the folder to my trash doesn't delete everything as it seems. Is this different from deleting an app downloaded from the App Store? Does clicking the "x" in launchpad really removes the whole app? As in, no hidden files in Application Support? [link] [comments] |
