I have an Android phone, and MMS messages arrive on my iPad... Why? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:55 AM PST So here's the deal. I had an iPhone for 2 years, and just switched back to Android (Pixel 2 XL). Whenever my wife (who has an iPhone) texts me an MMS message, the messages only appear in iMessage on my iPad, and don't come to my phone at all. I get her SMS messages on my phone just fine. What is going on here, and how do I fix it? [link] [comments]

Looking for app suggestions for contracts/forms for iPad Pro. Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:49 AM PST I have a friend who runs a fitness studio, and would like to use their iPad Pro as a way to create and provide a digital contract/sign-up form for their clients. For example: the client could use the iPad to fill out the form, and then digitally sign it with the Pen or their finger. As a bonus, the collected signed contracts could be stored in some database or iCloud. At the moment my friend is using a PDF form which can be filled and signed, but it's not the most convenient thing ever. Is there something like that available? [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:32 AM PST Hey guys, I purchased a 12.9" first gen iPad Pro about two years ago when I was doing a STEM course because I found it easier to take handwritten notes. It worked out amazingly well for taking maths and chem notes, as well as drawing biology diagrams etc. I now have an iPad Pro 10.5 and am about to enter law school but was wondering how people make use of it in these more word-heavy courses. My understanding is that there are lots of readings in law courses and it'd probably be more efficient to type notes into something like the desktop version of OneNote etc. So what's your setup/workflow like? I also have a 2016 tMBP, so I would love to see how you guys split your workflow across iPad and Mac/Windows. :) [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2018 08:07 PM PST Hello, Is it possible for iTunes to stop syncing the videos that I have deleted on my iPad? For instance, I put a video into my iTunes library and from there it syncs into my iPad. I delete the video on my iPad then I when I connect to iTunes it automatically syncs the deleted video back into my iPad. I'm thinking the only method is to delete the video from the library before syncing again. Is there another method? Thanks! [link] [comments]

What are my options for having line in on ipad? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 02:27 PM PST Going to be on the road and have a gig I will be recording. Would like to take as little gear as possible (adapters not withstanding) so I'm wondering if it's possible to get stereo line in audio on an iPad pro? [link] [comments]
Ipad pro browser vs laptop browser Posted: 30 Jan 2018 10:19 PM PST Hi guys can the ipad pro's browser compete with a laptop's browser (firefox, chrome, IE etc) in desktop view? And is here a decent perma desktop view web browser for the ipad pro? Since apple is promoting this is the start of a new age where the mobile device can now beat a desktop Thanks [link] [comments]
Can you open two Pages documents side by side on the iPad Pro? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 03:09 PM PST I am hoping I can open a pages document, pin it to one side, and then open a second document to copy-paste stuff between the two. This is the main reason I'm considering upgrading to the iPad Pro. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2018 09:30 PM PST As an iPad heavy user I just want a few things for the iOS 13 (since the iOS 12 will focus on stability, probably no new features or improvements on the user experience, unfortunately): Redesigned Notifications - The actual notification systems takes a lot of space in the iPad screen, specially on the Pros, as the 10.5 and 12.9 inches. Also, is not very handy to swipe up to hide the notifications. I guess I would like an approach more like the macOS. Better multitasking - iOS 11 improved the multitask on iPad to another level, but there's a few things to make it even better, as a way to know what app is hidden by the slide over. Also a way to manage, and pin the apps/multi-window, while you're on the control center (there's a few moments that I try to pin an app/multi-window through the Control Center, cause this seems to be so natural, idk why 😕) Redesigned siri - Siri on iPad takes a lot of space! I miss the old iOS 6 iPad's Siri! Improved Files and an official download manager for Safari - This is one thing that iPad Pro NEEDS to be more "Pro". What's is the point to have a near notebook replacement with a decent file system, but you can't even manage your downloads properly on the web browser? Also a file browser who let you SAVE things on your iPad freely, cause the actual Files doesn't let you save things on the your iPad storage without using an app folder that have support for the document picker, like Garage Band and the Apple's iWork suite. REAL WIDGETS! - APPLE, PLEASE USE THE IPAD SCREEN! The iPads screens have enormous sizes, you can take advantage of this, specially if the home screen have some REAL widgets, like this awesome concept, not that shit on the Notification Center. —— So what are yours wishlist? P.S: Sorry for the awful grammar, I'm Brazilian. [link] [comments]
