Posted: 24 Jan 2018 11:14 AM PST I don't know how many times I've misplaced my Apple Pencil and found it behind some pillows, between the cushions of my couch or underneath some stacks of paper. The Apple Watch is always connected to the iPhone via bluetooth, and you can ping your phone anytime with the watch and find it in that way. Similarly, the Apple Pencil is always connected to the iPad – but there's no pinging feature. If there's ever a second generation of Apple Pencils, I would love it it they add a little speaker somewhere just so it could be pinged from my iPad and make finding my 100$ tool easier to find. On a related note, can anyone help me find my Apple Pencil? It was here just a moment ago… [link] [comments] |

Posted: 24 Jan 2018 01:06 PM PST Somebody I know that I don't want to talk to is being incredibly annoying. I have an iPhone, I went onto their contact and selected "block this caller" hoping that would stop them being able to text and call me. Unfortunately, they keep adding me to a group chat. If I leave, I just re-added straight away. Turning off notifications isn't really good enough when I'm trying to block this person. Is there any way I can block this group chat/not be added back? Posted: 24 Jan 2018 03:44 PM PST More or less the iPhone experience hasn't changed so much that is unrecognizable. From time to time I like to branch out and try new apps that replace old apps that I've used for a while to try and get a "new" experience with my phone. Currently, I've been testing out different browsers like Edge to just see what's out there besides the stock safari app. [link] [comments] |

Siri: How old is Roger Federer? Posted: 24 Jan 2018 07:25 PM PST I just made the mistake of asking Siri this question. The crazy thing is one time in 10 or 20 it will return the answer, but all the others, just try to find out. I usually have a very good experience with Siri, but this bug they need to eliminate. What's the point of background app refresh? Posted: 24 Jan 2018 08:03 AM PST I feel like whenever I go back into an app, it still has to load new content…twitter always has "see new posts" at the bottom, Instagram still has to load whatever else is new. I thought the whole point of BAR was to be able to go into an app you recently used and already have new content downloaded, ready for your viewing pleasure? Also, what is the benefit of BAR on messaging apps, since any new messages will show up and alert you via push notifications? [link] [comments] |
