I've heard that the MacBook Pro is a decent enough replacement for the 2016 models, but I want to make sure that being a computer science major next year and being interested in iOS development that it being a 2015 model won't hold me back. | Macbook Pro shutting off randomly and shows dead. Posted: 31 Dec 2017 11:09 AM PST I have a mid 2012 Macbook Pro. Lately, it has been shutting off, then turning on when I hit the space bar, and then turning off and showing dead at high battery percents. Let's say it does this at 50%. Once I plug it in, it will turn back on fine and return to 50%. Option clicking the battery shows battery health as normal, and here is my coconutBattery report. I have tried resetting SMC and PRAM, with no success. This problem is driving me insane, if anyone has anything to try that would be great. [link] [comments]  |
