    Hi, About a year ago I tried and failed to emulate a bunch of stuff on my ipad, leaving behind about 20 gigs of data I can't seem to get rid of. Any idea how I could do that?

    No thumbnail previews from Google Drive in Files?

    I'm sure this is normal, but does anyone get thumbnail previews from JPG's stored on Google Drive in the Files app? I get them from Dropbox and iCloud, and in the GDrive app. This is a huge drawback for me as I really only use Goggle. I normally use Files Pro (fantastic app) but it would be nice to streamline things. Seem its not going to happen any time soon.

    OneNote for iPad 10.5 Bug Question

    I'd post this on the OneNote subreddit, but I figured that I'd be more likely to get an answer by posting here.

    When I use OneNote on iOS 11, I use a lot of bullet points, and love the cmd + . shortcut to create a new bullet point when I use OneNote on my Mac. Unfortunately this shortcut doesn't work on iPad with the Smart Keyboard. The cmd + / shortcut to start a list, however, does work.

    Could anyone confirm that this isn't just me, and that this bug happens on your iPad too? If it's just me, I'll try reinstalling the app, but given that doing that would force me to redownload all my notebooks I'd like to avoid it if possible.

    I have an iPad 2017, and this is my first Apple product. I really love how you can go page back by swiping your finger from left to right on the left side of the screen. But if I want to go page forward 9/10 times I accidentally open the side menu (where you can open certain other apps to use the screen 50/50 with) instead of going page forward which is quite annoying. Any tips on how I can use the page forward option through swiping without opening the side menu?

    Bought a new iPad—can I use iCloud to ONLY send over email info?

    A while ago google would automatically push through new emails. Now it seems like that's a feature I have to pay for. I've been transferring over from iCloud so it still works on one account. I don't want to bring anything else over. Thanks!

    Question regarding iPad storage.

    Hi all,

    Looking to purchase an iPad Pro for my wife, primarily for illustration with the iPad Pencil. Unfortunately, we are on a bit of a budget...so the 64GB model seems to be the best fit for us.

    My question is, will this be a potential issue with the size of drawing files? I'm not sure how large projects in apps like Procreate are, and want to make sure we won't have any storage issues. We have iCloud storage, so I am thinking that we will use that primarily - but am also not sure how well those types of apps interface with iCloud storage. Any help is much appreciated!

    Bonus question: My wife initially loved the size of the 12.9 more, but after testing the 10.5 she didn't mind the downgrade so much. For those of you that are using the Pencil, is the difference in screen size enough to be concerned?

    External Keyboard INOP when logging into McDonalds Wifi

    An interesting bug, when going out to hotspots, mostly McDonalds, after "CONNECTING" and accepting the terms... the external keyboard won't type anything into the app you are using.

    However, if you first press CMD-Tab to switch to any app (which works), including back to the app you started with, the keyboard will start working from then on. (Switching apps with touch inteface does not fix it.)

    If I time out the 2 hour limit and have to re-CONNECT to the Wifi service, the keyboard will stop working again, until I CMD-Tab to another app.

    IOS 11.1 did not fix this issue, anyone else experience this?

    Question - iPad Syncing Across Devices

    If you own two iPads, can the older and newer iPads stay synced with one another if using the same Apple ID?

    I want to keep my older one at home and use the newer one at school. It helps if the notes are kept the same. (More specifically: with Notability and GoodNotes4 - would they sync across multiple devices, keeping newer ones in tact?)

    Smart Keyboard - start a sentence with a lowercase letter

    Hey folks, Does anyone know how to force a sentence start with a lowercase letter, while using a Smart Keyboard. I can do that with the on-screen keyboard (tapping the shift key), but is there a shortcut or a key-combination to do the same with the Smart Keyboard as well?

    Just to be clear, I do not want to turn off auto-capitalisation in the settings. It's only sometimes that I want to start a sentence with a lowercase letter like in a web form or something like that.

    [Request] Looking for an iPad portfolio accessory

    In about a month I'll be going to a conference, and I want to take my iPad along to take notes, but I also want to carry around a pad of paper, just as a backup. So I was looking at portfolio cases, but the online selection is really limited. Staples/Best Buy/Office Depot and Max don't have any in my size (12.9" Pro), and on Amazon, the majority of them are $60+!! I found these two (1, 2), but does anybody know of any that aren't freaking $88? I don't need calfskin leather from a herd in Italy that gets daily massages and is fed steel-cut oats for breakfast, I just need something that will hold my size iPad and a pad of paper, anything else (pen holder (Apple or otherwise), phone pocket, other extra pockets, etc.), are not required, but are helpful if there, as I also have a bag.

    Good series tracking app

    Hi, I'm currently searching for a series tracking app for the iPad but so far I can't find a decent one. Maybe someone can help.

    On my Android Phone I use SeriesGuide so now I'm looking for something similar on the iPad

    Must have features:

    • localized episode titles (german)
    • sync with trak
    • a very good search function that can also search for episode titles

    I've tried a few that looked great, but were very disappointing when it came down to features. Most could only search for series names but not for episodes :/ This features is essential for me because some shows I look have 300+ episodes and I don't watch them in order.
