    Need an e-sign app for service company

    I work for a service company and we are upgrading the field technicians to have ipads. The office is looking for an app they can use to send us paperwork to be e-signed by the customer. The stipulation is that they do not want the document(original or signed copy) or signature to be stored on the device after the signed copy is submitted back to the office. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

    Air 2 not charging

    It used to go up to 1% but after i restored it, it goes up to 2%. When i plug it in to my laptop it says ''NOT CHARGING''. Is is possible to get IOS 10 again?

    [question] ipad air 1 bootloop help

    Hi, Got an ipad air stuck in a bootloop. It doesnt do anything when plugged into the PC but will loop when plugged in the wall charger. Have downloaded ReiBoot to help, but of course it needs to be detected on the PC before I can use that! Any ideas? I'ved tried getting it in recovery/DFU but seemingly can't. I guess its not getting enough juice via the PC to start? Many thanks Bryan

    EDIT: it seems to be doing something different now. Its been plugged in for a couple of hours and the screen is blank. If I remove and re-insert the power, the apple logo comes up and really quickly disapears, then nothing. I'm starting to think this maybe dead.

    iPad froze and played a very loud static sound

    While practicing with Swift Playgrounds, the timer I set minutes ago went off. In the moment I pressed 'Stop', the iPad froze and made a very loud screetching sound, exactly like this one (Warning, loud!) It was really scary.

    A force restart solved the problem though, should I be worried? Did anyone of you guys experience a problem like this?

    iPad Pro 10.5 battery wear level

    Tried a few apps (including coconut battery on my macbook) and got these results. Most of them indicate a 5% wear level and I got this iPad on 12th October. Is this normal or should I be worried?

    I'm a university student and money is already short to buy the current iPad, so I was given the very first iPad from a relative.

    I use it mostly for academic purposes, as an PDF viewer to access my ebooks, exercise sheets and emails.

    Which apps work still work on the iPad as of 2017?

    Apps very much needed: cloud storage app (any of the mainstream), a standalone doc/xls/ppt viewer app and movie player app like MX Player or VLC.

    FML, today I bent my pro

    ipad pro 10.5 was bought in the summer. It has been an awesome experience so far. It goes with me everywhere (mostly to work in my backpack) with naked back (i love the feeling) and smart cover. Today, I after returning from a country journey, I realized that the smart cover was not properly aligned with the side of the tablet. Further inspection, smart cover is fine but my ipad is bent.

    Should I try to straighten it manually? Anyone succeded with this? I don't want to mess up the display.

    I'm hugely disappointed. Shouldn't a pro device be less fragile material-wise? I'm wondering if apple's other products are like this, esp. Macbook pros.

    I will try to contact apple tomorrow to see what can be done but I expect nothing tbh.

    How's Duet Pro for illustration work?

    I'm sorry if this has been asked a lot now but I can't seem to get the answers I need with regards to Duet Pro. I currently own a 10.5 Pro. I do illustration related work but not on the level of making amazing art with it. I use Procreate and while it suits my needs I would like to learn how to use Clip Studio Paint.

    So for my question, how good/bad is Duet Pro in comparison to using a digital display like a Surface, Cintiq or Huion? Obviously using a dedicated display built for drawing will be superior but as someone who works on a Windows only device how good/bad is it to use Duet on Clip Studio Paint?

    I'm looking for a simple app where i can draw basic shapes to scale and calculate the area.

    I have an iPad Pro with an apple pencil which I would like to draw up the shape and have said program calculate the area. I would like to be able to set a scale and keep track of the area of each drawing, and a bonus if I could get it to import into an excel spreadsheet. Is there an app out there that can do this? I'm not opposed to spending money. I tried Archisketch, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Using an old iPad as a photo frame but the iPad does not stay fully charged even when connected to power continuously.

    I am using an old iPad 3 as a photo frame with the Liveframe app which displays my photos from my Google Photos album. But I am having trouble keeping the iPad charged. I keep it connected to the charger continuously hoping that it will stay fully charged but it still looses charge. I have tried a couple of different chargers but the same thing happens. If I put the iPad to sleep it charges to full charge but starts losing charge when I start using it as a photo frame. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    iPad Air 2 screen replacement gone awry. I cut into what diagrams say is an antenna (front lower left corner of unit), but maybe I only damaged where it fastens, and don't need to replace?

    Boot Looped First and Now Won't Charge

    Hey guys, I have an iPad Pro 9.7 in, it's currently on the dreaded iOS 11. It has actually worked well for me up to this point. However, today I open up the case and it shows me the white screen with the black Apple logo as if it's turning on...normal right?...then 5 seconds later the screen goes black, then a few seconds later the start up image comes on again...then goes black...rinse and repeat. I attempted to reset my device with the power button and home button that I've done before on other devices, but that didn't work. I went to the Apple store and they told me to try the DFU Restore at home with iTunes. I get home, and I go to attempt the first step (hold the power button for 3 seconds) and the picture comes on saying I need to charge my iPad. I get excited because I hadn't seen this option when it was looping. I go to plug it in to charge it, and now it's not charging while my wife's iPhone is. I just got this in March of this year...im thinking it's iOS 11 messing it up. Before i take this back to the Apple store or call Apple or call Verizon (whom I got it from), I was curious if anyone has had this happen to them?

    Hard resetting iPad Air 2 11.0.3 forces Restoring of all photos! Serious bug. DON'T HARD RESET YOUR IPAD!

    Posted over at r/iOS but figured I needed to post this here, too.

    So I haven't updated my phone yet but decided to give 11.0.3 a go on the iPad. Heard it was more or less stable there. Things were going well until it crashed earlier and I did a hard reset by holding down the home button and power button.

    After restarting things seemed fine but when I went into the Photos app there weren't any photos! Obviously I started freaking out because there were over 10,000 photos missing. Kind of angry that I'd have to waste time to restore from iTunes.

    But when I checked the iPad storage it said Photos was taking up 30 gigs still.

    After a few minutes the iPad started slowing down and I realized the Photos app was still running and slowly "Restoring" all of the missing photos. Restoring from where I have no idea. I don't have the Photos connected to iCloud or anything. I turned off wi-fi just to test it out and the iPad continued the restore offline. After about two hours all the photos were back! But the Camera Roll was completely out of order. Still, the Photos stayed on the device.

    So I decided to test things out. I did a regular shut down by holding the power button and sliding the iPad off. Upon powering on the Photos were all safe and sound. But when I tried another hard reset? Photos gone again and I'm currently in my second "Restore" session.

    Tl;dr By hard resetting my iPad Air 2 running iOS 11.0.3 all of my photos disappeared but then slowly began "restoring" themselves. The Camera Roll is now completely out of order and hard resetting the iPad again resulted in the same thing.

    Just bought the 12.9 pro....updating to 11.1 was the first thing i did. I can do most of my computing now on the Pro. > don't forget to back up your device before you update....

    I prefer the YouTube desktop site over the app/mobile site. On iOS 10 I could get it to play HD but with iOS 11 it's 240 or 360. I'm not sure how to fix it and I can't find much on it.
