    Hi

    I deleted files from my USB key in exFAT format then emptied the trash but files are still visible when I plug into a Windows PC.
    Do you know why and how to display them on mac and how to realy delete it ?

    Calendar stopped syncing with Google Calendar, and now I can't add the account back

    Hi guys

    Yesterday I noticed that all of my calendar events and notes disappeared - it looked like it was a problem with synchronisation, since in Google Cal all looked fine. I removed the Google account from my Internet Accounts and intended to add it back... but now this is all that is happening. It can last hours and nothing happens. Same thing goes on whether I try to add an account via System Preferences -> Internet Accounts or straight from the Calendar app. What do I do?

    My iOs is Monterey 12.1, I'm on Macbook Air 2020

    Macbook pro fails to connect to TV but sometimes doesn't

    We sometimes connect my macbook to stream stuff on a 2019 samsung smart tv and sometimes it doesn't connect, stating could not connect to samsung tv sometimes it does and while watching it freezes and disconnects and I can't reconnect again. I tried restart and updating my macbook and no help. I was wondering why this happens and how I can fix it as I couldn't find anything related to my situation on internet.

    Has anyone seen this error ... and hopefully know how to fix it?

    When printing from the Calendar app, I can't choose the paper size. My only option is "<do not localize>" and the result is a print that extends just beyond the edge of the paper. This happens when printing to paper and PDF. All other printer settings are set for US Letter. Attaching screen shots in the comments.

    Details: MacBook Pro 14-inch, M1 Max, MacOS Monterey 12.4

    Thanks for any help you can give! And my apologies if this has been posted before, I searched but didn't find anything similar.

    Can't copy folders on my external(s) HDD on Monterey 12.4 | SOS

    Hello!

    I was trying to move some folders on my external HDD today but I am getting an error while doing so: The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "" can't be read or written. (Error code -36)

    I have tried copying one or multiples files instead and it is working, the error is happening only when moving a folder.

    I've been having this problem with 2 machines:
    1) MBP 16'' 2019 - Intel (Monterey 12.4)
    2) MPB 13'' 2017 (Monterey 12.4)

    I've tried the "dot_clean" solution on terminal without any success. Restarted both Macs, giving permission to my HDD.

    Someone knows how to solve it?

    A1708 SSD upgrade not detected in Startup Disk

    I've swapped a new 512GB OEM Samsung SSD into my 2017 13' Macbook Pro (non touchbar). SSD is from Amazon that was recommended by YouTuber Created Tech.

    ​

    The installation process, erase to APFS and GUID, and MacOS installation had no problem, but when booting up the Mac, it does not detect any drive.

    ​

    When booting up it shows the folder icon with the question mark. I have resetted the NVRAM, ran first aid, re-erase the drive and reinstall MacOS on the drive but booting up does not detect the drive.

    ​

    I swapped back to the original Apple drive and it is working perfectly fine as I am typing on the MacBook.

    ​

    What seems to be the problem here? I am trying to eliminate other probabilities before concluding that the hardware or SSD is the problem.

    The books application, ever since Monterey, has been a pile of garbage. It takes 2-3 seconds just to flip a page, and the UI is garbage. I'd like to downgrade to a previous version of Books (I do a LOT of educational reading on my Mac... it's part of the reason I don't use Windows - the old Books app used to be so good).

    Is this possible? Can I downgrade a Mac application without downgrading the OS?

    Migration Assistant-Wrong Size Calc

    Howdy... trying to transfer to a new m1 MacBook pro from a 2017 one. Migration assistant calculates my 1tb drive to contain 2.6tb of data (new computer is same size, 1tb). It does this when pulling from two different sources of time machine backups and also when going peer to peer.

    I've read one drive can cause this. I've installed it and done fresh backups. No luck.

    Any ideas out there?

    Mouse weirdness?

    So I have a MacBook Air which is pretty new with an m1 chip, and one thing I want to be able to do is use Parsec so my windows gaming rig can stay in my office but I can keep playing around the house, and it seems to largely work for that. However, a major problem I'm noticing is that my sensitivity seems to change with the speed I move my mouse, like if I move my mouse slow it doesn't move far enough, but move it fast and I've completely turned around without meaning to. This does not happen when I'm sat at the windows machine and I don't think it's parsec, I think it's some kind of thing with how Mac handles the mouse, is there any way of turning off this weird acceleration?

    hi I have a 13" M1 MacBook Pro(9 months old) that I use in clamshell mode since like 2 months with a Samsung external display. Everything has been working perfectly but lately I did the Monterrey 12.4 update and the display doesn't detect my MacBook anymore even tho in my displays menu on the computer I can see my second screen. I ve tried changing my hdmi cable, my adapter, another display, nothing was working. I tried to plug my friends Mac(old software) with my screen and it worked. I really could use your help guys. What I have tried: -Factory reset of my screen. -Other Hdmi cable (that works with other computers and screens) -Other adapter (that works with my ipad and my friends Mac) -Plug my adapter and restart my computer at the same time

    I found these 2 at goodwill a couple weeks ago. They have not just the hard drive but another drive or something inside the first drive like a partition and I'm trying to factory reset both of them to have my very own Mac Mini computer. I need help via step-by-step on how to do that. Thanks! ☺️
