Can anyone explain why you are excited about Always On Display? Posted: 07 Jun 2022 09:48 AM PDT It looks like iPhone 14 will finally have Always On Display. But can someone explain why is it useful? I have my phone in my pocket most of the day when I'm out. I won't see the screen. I have phone in a charging dock away from me when I'm home. I won't see it. I have my phone in front of my face when I am using it. I won't need always On. I love the AOD on my watch because I can tell time without turning my wrist. But why is it good for a phone? Posted: 07 Jun 2022 04:44 PM PDT I've had iPhones since the iPhone 4 came out. I've recently upgraded to my current iPhone and have been reading about MagSafe chargers. Granted most of the reviews I've read have been on Amazon. What I've concluded is that Apple's MagSafe battery pack is a piece of junk. What do you all think of the MagSafe chargers? Is it worth spending the money on all this or should I stay with what I've got with charging via the traditional method? I have plenty of USB-C blocks and am going to get a couple USB-C extension cords at some point. Obviously I would be looking into getting a couple of these as well as these, as I also have an Apple Watch. [link] [comments]
Uninstalled app still appearing in location services Posted: 07 Jun 2022 04:06 PM PDT I noticed tonight that an app I uninstalled last October is still appearing in location services with just the options 'Never' and 'When I Share' available. It's the only app that's behaving like this for me, all the other apps on the location services list are installed. Anybody know what is causing this and how to get rid of it? [link] [comments]
