    Airpods limited to 80dB on Iphone

    My iphone is limiting my airpods to 80dB, no matter the settings i turn on/off. I have disabled every safety and limiting setting possible but the issue persists.

    My macbook and Apple watch both go abocy 80dB.

    I have looked around the apple forums and tried some fixes but nothing seems to work.

    Airplay from IPhone XS to 2020 MacBook Air not working

    I have a 2020 MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.15.7 (catalina) and an iPhone running on iOS 15.5. I can't seem to figure out how to AirPlay video from my phone to my MacBook. I think the issue might have something to do with the fact then when I go to system preferences>sharing there is no option to make my MacBook an airplay receiver. What might I be able to do to make this work?

    Hi, so my iPhone 12 pro has a pretty bad shatter on the back, and there is even a small piece of the actual phone that has been chipped off near the center of it revealing what's underneath.

    I just bought new 2nd gen airpods and they keep disconnecting then reconnecting when nothing is playing, but the airpods are still in my ears. I've tried literally everything, so resetting them won't do anything.

    To test something, I actually paired my sister's airpods to my phone and the same thing happened. Kept disconnecting when there is no music/video playing. So I'm pretty sure it's my phone that is the issue, not the airpods. Could the damage on my phone cause this?

    So I bought an apple pencil 1st generation today and an iPad 9 but when I plug the pencil into the iPad, the pair button will appear only for few seconds and disappear before I click it!!! Help I'm panicking

    Everything is up to date. The pop up come for my girlfriend and friends but never for myself. Why? Is it normal, if so is a bad idea, or is it a bug?

    Apple Pay not working

    Has anyone else had problems with Apple Pay today? I've tried at 2 different places and they keep declining. And no, I don't have insufficient funds because when I use the actual cards from Apple Pay they work just fine. Wondering if the system was down or if it was just me.

    I’m having general problems with my iphone SE screen/display

    Hi, I have a 2020 2nd generation iPhone SE and very recently (today) I've been having numerous problems and glitches with the display.

    First thing I noticed was these horizontal black lines that are a pixel in height and go across the screen in rows. These stopped after I smacked the phone screen lol but another issue arose from this, now I can see each pixel on my phone very clearly, they aren't smooth anymore and I can see each individual square, it's like looking at a really old outdated iPhone display.

    It's also suffering from severe screen burn, after looking at my white Home Screen for literally 1 minute there is a ghostly afterimage of the Home Screen that is only visible when I'm looking at a black background. It's never happened before, and my screen brightness is always on 1/4 at most. As I type this message with the screen brightness on 0 the keyboard has burned into the display lmao.

    Lastly, every now and then the screen flickers and is just a bit temperamental, earlier the pixel issue had gone, but then it came back again. Is there some kind of wire loose? Any solutions?

    Only cause I can think of is firstly I took my phone with me while I was having a bath, there were a few small droplets of water but they were just chilling on the waterproof screen protector, and I've cleaned my phone with water multiple times before and nothing bad has happened, but maybe water has somehow gone in? I think the problems started immediately after the bath. Secondly I dropped my phone after the bath too which maybe worsened it.

    Can it support multiple external monitors, or just 1?

    I'd like to connect 2 external monitors to this MacBook and just turn off the MacBook Air native monitor if possible.

    If I need adapters/hubs/docks/etc. to accomplish this, which accessories do I need exactly? Thanks!

    I used to have a second (internal) HD in my Mac Pro tower that I installed Windows on years ago. After I updated OSX one time, the new version of OSX used APFS which Windows did not recognize so when I booted into windows via Bootcamp, I was not able to switch back to OSX as Windows didn't see that drive because it didn't recognize APFS. I now have a 2015 iMac that I want to run Windows on via an external SSD. So any thoughts on a good external probably 1tb SSD, and will I have any issues booting between OSX and Windows?

    MacBook air won’t update?!??!!

    I have a MacBook Air, updated it to the latest update a few weeks ago, decided to hard reset it due to having to much files taking up space, now it's stuck in OS X (I got iTunes back) and now it won't let me go back to the version I was on before updating (OS big slur I believe) idk if during the reset I screwed something up or my Mac decided OS X is now the highest update it'll accept.. It's a 2013 or 2015 MacBook Air that has previously ran the latest update of OS so idk what's happening

    Cannot re-add credit card to Pay after changing Apple ID

    I'm in Germany, using an iPhone 13 Max Pro. I had both my regular debit and my credit card (bank-issued MasterCard) in Apple Pay without any issues. Then I decided to change my Apple ID, and after that I needed to log out of my phone and back in. Whilst doing so, both cards were removed from Wallet (though it shows them as previously added cards). I could add my debit card back without issues, but with the credit card things are not so smooth.

    I can essentially go through the entire process of entering a TAN and accepting the ToS, but then I get a generic "Card not added" / "Contact your card issuer for more information" error. I have tried deleting everything I can think of (any mentions of the card, even my banking app) and starting over – to no avail.

    Yes, I did contact my bank, and they couldn't help other than forwarding it to their internal departments from which I have yet to hear back (and kind of doubt I ever will). I was wondering if someone has seen this issue before and may have some advice?

    My sister has an iphone 11 (64 gb) she just got it and she is trying to transfer everything to the 11. “This transfer cannot be completed. this iphone does not have enough storage” ok her old phone she has 60.3 out of 64. Its telling her to reset her phone and shes done this over 10 times.

    Touch message clarification

    Guys, can someone clarify.

    IF Person A sends a touch message via iMessage to Person B, and the touch message disappears, does it mean:

    1. The message has been opened and read by person B.
    2. The message has been read read by person B without opening.
    3. The message was automatically removed after certain minutes regardless if opened or not.

    SOS went to someone NOT on my emergency contact list

    Yesterday I triggered an SOS to connect with 911. I let the countdown timer go down from 10 so my 1 emergency contact could be notified (success - text message).

    However, someone not my my emergency contact list was also notified with "a pop up" (no text history). Neither of us can find any record of this.

    I am concerned about my privacy. I am also concerned about who else might have received this notification.

    What might have happened?

    2013 21.5 iMac as second screen for 2020 MacBook?

    Title pretty much says it. I'm trying to use my 2013 21.5 iMac as a second screen for my 2020 MacBook but not having much luck.

    I've got Mojave on the iMac and Monterey on the Macbook.

    I've tried running a Thunderbolt to VGA from the iMac to a VGA to HDMI cable into my Mokin adapter that's plugged into my Macbook's USB-C's.

    Is this going to be possible? I hate to get rid of the old iMac, but it takes up so much space if I can't use it as a second monitor, that will be it's fate.

    Any help is very much appreciated. Obviously I'm open to buying different cables/adapters. Above is just what I had on hand.
