Posted: 13 May 2022 11:31 PM PDT I would like to install Photoshop but don't like that it CONSTANTLY runs in the backround even when you are NOT using Photoshop... unless you UNINSTALL it. Workaround I'm thinking of is installing a Virtual Machine that runs MacOS, but in order to do that I need a disk image. All the sites are referencing disk images hosted on third party sites, but is there a way to download an official disk image directly from Apple? If not, can I simply just install Photoshop for a new user account and switch over when needed? What a pain in the *ss tho..... [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 14 May 2022 12:44 AM PDT MacBook Pro with latest updates, Win 10 is installed and working fine even after restarts and shutdowns. After a few days working on the MacOS, the following issue appears (see screenshot in comments). At boot screen Windows is selected (holding Option) and in stead of booting normally, this Boot recovery assistant loads up saying: "This version of MacOS on the selected disk needs to be reinstalled. - Startup Disk <or> Recovery..." Did anyone have such an issue? Google search did not help much. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 13 May 2022 11:38 PM PDT I recently reinstalled macOS Monterey due to bug issues, but now my MacBook does not charge. I have tried resetting the smp, but no luck. It is a 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch. [link] [comments] |
