    First Apple Watch ever

    After years of resisting, I finally bought the watch 7 abyss blue color. I came from an Amazfit bip, which worked wonderfully for my purposes when I was using an Android phone, but since the switch to iOS, it sucked. The apple watch is gorgeous and I really love this blue color. I'm still a bit annoyed that I have to remember to charge it every night since my bip's battery would lasted like a month when first bought. Even after years of usage, battery was still lasting about 2 weeks.

    Overall, I'm greatly enjoying the new watch. Another plus is I can pay with my watch instead of my phone like a pleb 😂.

    Hi Guys,

    I recently went to Genius Bar to get my Apple Watch fixed and the nice associate told me that they dont have the parts in stock. The parts were ordered and the associate told me it will arrive within 3 to 5 days.

    The associate gave me two choices. Either I take the Apple Watch home and bring it back when the parts arrive or just leave my watch with them. I decided to take it home and just drop it off when the parts arrive.

    I checked the repair status via Apple website and my repair request is confirmed but it is says "No Status". Will Apple send me an email or call me that the parts have arrived? Or I should just check the repair status within 3 to 5 days?

    I fully charge the darn thing then turn it off so it can be fully charged when I go to use it next. But it keeps turning back on and draining the battery even when not on the charger.

    I currently only own the Red rubber band that came with it.

    Why are the stopwatch and timer apps private?

    Does this really annoy anyone else? The stopwatch and timer hide the seconds when you're not looking directly at your watch. Why do they make these things private? Or is there a setting somewhere that shows these details without having to look directly at your watch?

    Lost Apple Watch still showing up in the Findmy app after months. Is this even possible?

    I lost my watch late last year, and I quickly put it into lost mode in the Findmy app. To this day, it still pings its location in the app once per day. It says it's apparently in the car, but I've turned that thing inside and out and never found it. Is it even possible that the battery could last this long or is something wrong with the app?

    Is there an app that records the last thirty seconds?

    The title really says it all. I have an Apple Watch where I frequently use Voice Memos to record things I should remember. Sometimes, though, I start recording too late so I was wondering if there was an app that constantly records, but saves the last thirty seconds to my Voice Memos. That way, I have about thirty seconds to press the button.

    Series 7 - messages will not stay synced with iPhone

    I bought my first Apple Watch - a Series 7, "open box" from Best Buy almost three weeks ago. I love it, except… my text messages (SMS and iMessage) will not stay synced, and it is driving me crazy. Like so many others have reported, my watch doesn't properly reflect my unread messages. Specifically, the messages continue to show as unread on my watch after I've read them on my phone, AND the watch counts my own responses (via iPhone) as "unread" texts.

    I'm unpleasantly surprised by how many folks have reported this issue, going back to 2017 - yet it still isn't fixed. I've tried all of the solutions mentioned here and on the Apple forums (powering down phone and watch, restarting phone first, disconnecting from Wi-Fi, unpairing and setting up as a new watch) but nothing has worked for more than a few new messages before it starts doing the same thing again. Even the people who originally reported their issue have come back and said they couldn't find a solution that "stuck."

    Has anyone found a permanent solution to this issue, or should I try to return the watch? I didn't act fast enough to when the issue popped up (because I assumed it would be an easy fix) so now I'm outside the open box return window.

    I got the Apple Watch 7 45 cell. If I'm at the gym for example and my phone is away, when I get off the AirPods or pauses the song it doesn't let me resume it and cycle between a lot of songs until it picks another song. Anyone knows why?

    Question for anyone who went from a 6 to a 7

    Yesterday I broke my watch. It was a series 4 stainless steel and never had a reason to upgrade until yesterday now that it is not repairable. So my question is this. Has anyone had a series 6 and upgraded to the 7? I know the screen is a little bigger but what makes the 7 that much better than the 6? The reason I am asking this is because I have a good friend of mine who has a series 6 44mm cellular that has maybe been worn 1 time. He doesn't like it. It's 4 months old. I can get it for $200. Or should I go for the 7? I'm just curious on what the difference is. I've compared them on the website but was hoping to get feedback from someone who actually had a 6 and a 7. I have a 13 pro max if that makes any difference

    Strava not syncing with the fitness app

    Hello! Recently bought an AWS7 and set it up with Strava before going on a long and pretty intense walk. I used Strava > outdoors walk on my watch and when I was done I tried to watch it on the Fitness app on my phone but the workout didn't show up. I can see a few old Garmin Connect runs on the app but no Strava.

    Anyone knows if i'm doing something wrong or whats going on?
