Update: Fast Charge works in India post watchOS 8.5.1 update Posted: 04 May 2022 04:34 AM PDT Just an update for the folks from India. I am able to fast charge my Series 7 Apple Watch with the supplied cable and a 20W Fast Charger. For people who didn't know, fast charging on S7 was disabled on launch in a few countries including India. [link] [comments]

songs only play in alphabetical order Posted: 04 May 2022 07:19 AM PDT Hi, sorry to clog the thread but I'm hoping someone can help me with this — Whenever I select a song to play on the Apple Watch from my entire list of songs, it skips to the next song alphabetically, not in the order that they're arranged in the list. Does anyone know what is going on? I've triple checks to make sure it's sorted by recently added, not by name, to no avail. Thank you!! [link] [comments]
Additional faces and battery usage Posted: 04 May 2022 07:15 AM PDT QQ, does anybody know the battery impact to having additional faces on the watch if they are not active? Do the complications continue to update if it's not the active watch face, or is it in some sort of hibernation state with no appreciable battery impact? My main watch face is just the time in gray, but I would like one of the activity faces available to switch to for a quick update…. [link] [comments]
Any pre-paid Apple Watch plans in Canada? Posted: 04 May 2022 06:46 AM PDT I think there's something in the UK that offers a monthly pre-paid plan for around $10/mth. Was hoping there was something like that in Canada. I couldn't find anything, but maybe someone knows of one. I'm stuck with Fido for another year or so, and don't think they're going to have Apple Watch support any time soon. [link] [comments]

First Time Buyer/Owner (S7 or SE) Posted: 04 May 2022 09:41 AM PDT Hey guys, first time buyer here and I am trying to make the right choice for myself. I'm torn between the SE and series 7, mostly because I'm skeptical about the SE and wonder if it is a good buy. Since it is a budget model after all. Mainly want the watch to manage my regular iPhone usage, for the health apps and to tell time. Nothing crazy. TLDR: is the SE worth it as a starter watch or should I spend the extra $100+ for the series 7. [link] [comments]
What triggers Automatic workout detection...? Posted: 04 May 2022 09:14 AM PDT Because while it's a great feature and often does work on a long walk for me.. I find it funny that it might trigger if I'm walking for 20 minutes and backtrack my entire walk BUT if I walk for 18 minutes and manually trigger a walk, it doesn't include the last 17 minutes in my work out. :D Perhaps a little nuance the team should check on [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 May 2022 08:57 AM PDT I currently have an Apple Watch series 3 38mm and I was thinking when I have the money I might upgrade to a series 7 41mm Is it worth it ? [link] [comments]
Feature Request:(Improved) automatic walk workout tracking Posted: 04 May 2022 08:46 AM PDT You are probably thinking right know that it already automatically starts your walk workouts, but just hear me out. What my watches did in the past and my current one still does is, when it detects that I have been walking for some time, it asks me wether I want to start a walking workout. If I would tab yes, it would enter the workout screen and if tab no it would do nothing. I have two problems with that approach.
There is a huge difference in tracked data when the workout is active vs when it's not. Meaning that if I walk the same distance with a workout active I magically burn significantly more calories than if I walk the same route the same way without an active workout. I get that the heart rate sensor is not always on when no workout is active, but there still shouldn't be that big of a difference. And with that comes something else. 2. If I just walk a "short" commute, that has the purpose of getting me from point a to point b, it is really annoying to always tap the start workout button, just so that your watch can track everything the right way. If I casually walk I would prefer it to not have to interact with my watch, it should just work. Another reason why I don't want to tab the start workout button is that I don't want/need the workout screen if I just walk casually. I don't need the screen that tells me my heart rate and how far I've walked so far, I prefer the normal watch face that tells me the weather, calendar events and other information you have selected for your watch face. Yes, you could click the workout screen away, but you would have to do that every time you raise your wrist. So in summary I would just want my watch to track my commute walks, without asking me for permission and without interfering. I would love to just start walking without caring about it and when I arrive at my destination, I maybe just get a notification that says something like "your outdoor walk has been tracked" with the option to delete the workout if you long press on the notification. What do you think about that? [link] [comments]
Motion and Distance in Location services Posted: 04 May 2022 08:27 AM PDT I've had my SE for a year and a half now. I just noticed the Motion and Distance location services is off. I've been doing this circle around my neighborhood which the watch says in 2.5 miles… since this was always off does that mean my walk wasn't 2.5 miles of that makes sense? Has my watch been deceiving me since the setting was off for so long? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 May 2022 07:36 AM PDT Hi guys, I got my Apple Watch SE 3 weeks ago and I'm worried about the screen, can someone link me some good screen protectors? (Please not Amazon I can't buy there anymore lol). [link] [comments]
