    Hello everyone! I have a hypothetic question and somewhat I concerned about.

    I recently get an iPhone 13. When I activate my new phone, it's asking me if I want to sync with the my old phone (iPhone 7). But I kind of suspect my iPhone 7 has virus/ransomware/spyware and etc. (I don't have proof, but just suspect because of some weird things in my phone.) I haven't used my old phone and upgraded to an Android phone ever since I had that suspection. And recently I want to switch back to iPhone. My question is, if I let the data sync from my old iphone, will my new iphone get virus/spyware or whatever bad stuff too?

    I'm trying to make my phone silent and only vibrate if I get a phone call (via Normal Calls/Facetime/Telegram/Signal/Whatsapp/Textnow/etc). The only issue I came across is when someone sends me a message through an app such as Telegram, my phone vibrates. I only want my iPhone to vibrate for phone calls (via Normal Calls/Facetime/Telegram/Signal/Whatsapp/Textnow/etc) and nothing else. Thanks.

    edit: I do not want to leave my phone on silent mode since I will miss phone calls if anyone calls me. I want my phone to vibrate for phone only or else I will get distracted if someone sends me a message (via Telegram/Signal/Whatsapp/etc)

    What are the requirements to choose an ideal iPhone fast charger?

    Hi everybody

    Apologies if this question has been asked before but I wanted to know what all requirements have to be satisfied to consider a third party wall charger for the iPhone 13?

    I believe one needs at least a 20W PD charger and a USB C to lightning cable (why this specifically? Why can't I use the old USB B to lightning cable to achieve the same charging speed?)

    Do I also need to take in consideration the ampere output of the charger?

    Is it bad to have 98% battery health on my iPhone 11?

    I bought it on February 23rd 2021, and today is the 4th of March. I checked my batter health today and saw 98%, and I got shocked (I'm a bit paranoid about the battery). My phone has NEVER died (never had a % lower than 15% even) and I was always paranoid about charging it the correct way. So is it good to have 98% after one year of usage? What is the average result? Thanks.

    Am I just deaf or what?

    I currently have an iPhone 13 Pro and I also have the iPhone 12 Pro Max (which I used daily until the 13 Pro came out, now for work). Both updated to the latest versions.

    With both phones I have had the issue that whenever I call someone, I have to out them on speakerphone, because no matter how loud I put the volume, I just cannot hear people (there is sound, the speakers are not broken. When I listen to music the sound is fine).

    Is there some kind of setting that I can change to make the speaker louder in calls? Or is it really only loud when playing music? And if so, why not when calling?

    Am I seriously just deaf? Never had this problem with my SE 1st gen or my 7…

    iTunes Support for iPhone 13

    Just got my new iPhone 13, coming over from android but anytime I try to load money to my apple ID it says I need to connect iTunes support first. I might just be dumb but I cant figure it out.

    I have bought an iPhone 13 mini and noticed a discoloration of the glass around the camera of it. I sent it to the apple service but they did not take it back. I was thinking of having a 1-year warranty for manufacturer problems.

    Power Button

    I have a issue, my power button works I can turn the display on and off. The problem is if I hold the button for 5sec it won't give me the option to Turn off or restart the phone. Also in the past i used to have the option if i tab the power 3 times to assign option to it such as dim the display.

    how do you hardreset an iphone 11 without the apple I'd password. got one from a girl who doesn't remember her passcode. I have Googled how, just get lost, I don't wanna pay for one of the programs that do it, I have an acer chrombook if it can be used.

    iPhone 12- how to unlink contacts from email?

    My mum is using her work email ID as Apple ID! (Which I just learnt today btw!) Her work enabled two factor authentication and she was asked to delete and set up her exchange account again which she did but her contacts vanished. We did a bit of sleuthing and I noticed the contact was turned off for this work id, turned it back on and the contacts were back on the phone. Phew! But I was not able to back up these contacts associated with the work email to icloud, everything is turned on btw. Not sure how the contacts got linked to the exchange account either. Found this on apple support, are there any other solutions on how to delink these contacts from her work email so we can back up to icloud? Apple Support

    I blocked someone on facebook and have now unblocked them but all forms of video chat they cant hear me, messenger, whatsapp and google duo, they have an android, normal calls in all apps and normal phone calls have audio just not video chat, have tried video chatting other people and they can hear me just fine, any help will be greatly appreciated

    IPhone 12 bricked(?) after attempted file transfer to 13 Pro max

    Hello I currently have an iPhone 12 that wa s purchased from AT&T (USA). Today I received an iPhone 13 Pro Max that I bought from Verizon as I am switching carriers. I started the phones and began the file transfer. About halfway through the phones became disconnected despite sitting right next to each other. The phones would not reconnect to one another even after following advice from Apple support to turn off and turn back on Wi fi and Bluetooth. Following advice from Apple support I restarted the Pro Max and 12. The Pro Max restarted and went to the normal set up screen. The 12 went to the apple logo for a super long period of time and then an indefinite spinning wheel.

    Following the advice from Apple support chat I forced a restart. This time I had the apple logo for awhile and then it eventually started to my screen and I could operate the phone! But then it turned off after 30 seconds and I have not been able to start it since. Apple support set me up with an appointment with best buy tomorrow but they seem perplexed.

    Has anyone had a similar issue, and did you have a resolution? I'm extremely concerned I'm going to loose all the pictures from the first year and a half of my child's life and the notes I use to keep track of my reselling. I'm also concerned that if this phone broke because eof some weird software fluke I won't be able to trade in for the trade in credit thag I'm using to afford the new Pro Max.

    Any advice or similar situations?

    I goggled and searched it and from what I understand it's still impossible without jail break, or some other 3rd party device.

    The reason I'm asking is I was about to buy a iphone but not having this feature is kinda deal breaker for me, so before I call it I would like to make sure and ask you the experts.

    If people are worries about the legality, recording calls is legal in my country, and second I'm not recording to sue people or anything questionable, it's simply allowing me to save important information when driving / can't write it down.

    Default Bluetooth volume at 50 percent on all devices after update.

    Updated two-ish months ago.

    Default Bluetooth volume used to adjust per the device. I could keep the car volume on max and earbuds on half or so, and it'd pick up at the level it left off last.

    Now everything starts at half. My car's Bluetooth device beeps every time a volume adjustment is made on the iPhone, and I find it mildly irritating to beep my way up every time I hop in the car.

    i only got my iphone 2 months ago [13] and today it randomly would not let me open apps it would let we do swipe motions and such but it would not work and when i tried to turn it off the power button wouldnt work and the volume ones dont either, help me please

    Bluetooth music quality vs Android

    I recently switched to an iPhone 13 from a galaxy s8.

    I have expensive quality headphones (Senheiser momentum 3). I am not some expert audiophile but the s8 sounds noticeably better when trying the same song on same app (I tried Spotify premium and YouTube). These headphones support both aptx which is used on android and AAC on the iPhone.

    Is there something to be done to improve the sound quality? I have the senheiser app and use the same equalizer in both devices. Why does the iPhone sounds worse? I read that aac 256kbps should perform equally to aptx 320kpbs.

    Not sure how to phrase this, but every single email on every account on my phone has disappeared completely. They aren't in my deleted folders, just up and disappeared. Personal accounts, work account, school account, everything. Has anyone had this issue before and know how to get them back?

    How to jailbreak iphone charging problem

    So it charges just fine when its off. But it decides to turn itself on and declare accessory not supported when charged to 1% and die again in 5min only to come right back to life when connected. How to do i force the iphone to take the charge and remove whatever software that makes it says accessory not supported?
