Face id not working Posted: 05 Mar 2022 02:22 PM PST Just repaired my iPhone X screen and for some reason when i reset face id and re set it it doesn't scan my face. the first step where it says put your face in frame doesn't scan anything but i receive no error messages but when i go to camera it recognizes faces so what's the issue here ? submitted by /u/Chuleebird [link] [comments]

Figuring out if someone blocked you via the group chat Posted: 05 Mar 2022 01:17 PM PST I am a group chat with someone I need to be in contact with (housemate). I think this person may have blocked me because my direct message to this person was sent green (they also have an iPhone). Myself and another housemate have been texting in the group chat but none of it is green. Could you please let me know whether the group chat would come up green if I were blocked by the individual or would it still send blue? iPhone stolen and icloud password/back up phone number were changed Posted: 05 Mar 2022 11:50 AM PST Hi all, My iPhone was stolen yesterday. By the time I was able to get a chance to login to my icloud and lock the phone, they changed my icloud pwd and backup phone number (they secretly saw my 4 digit phone passcode). I contacted apple support and visited their store and the options they gave me are to 1)find that thief back up number- which I can't obviously, it has last 2 digits and first 8 needs to be guessed 2) any trusted device with my icloud logged in- which I don't have any such device. This is so frustrating that apple can't do much in such cases. How come they can't see I have my phone number for 2 years or so and then suddenly someone changed it few hours ago and they aren't able to recover my account. They already used by debit/credit from apple pay which I contacted my bank and kept a froze/hold on. But I have lots of personal photos and videos. Is there any way I can get them back? Iphone XS max GSM problem Posted: 05 Mar 2022 09:00 AM PST Hello. My iphone xs max started encountering some strange GSM problems since yesterday on which I couldn't find any information online. During GSM calls both me and the person on the other end hear crackling noises, ticking, pitched voices and repetitive noises. The problem doesn't occur on internet calls such as facetime audio/video both on wi-fi or 4g so I'm excluding any of the involved components. I asked my carrier for an e-sim to exclude a SIM malfunction. The problem is persisting. Do you think this could be antenna related? Are the GSM/4g antennas separated? my iphone freezing at certain screens Posted: 05 Mar 2022 08:36 AM PST Hy, i just bought an iphone xsmax, and i cant log out from icloud (the logout button is greyed out, i tried to turn off screentime but no work, still greyed out) and i cant update or restore to factory reset, the phone instantly freezes. i cant update or restore even on itunes, so i am totally lost with this, i dont know if there is a fast fix for this. right now the hello screen comes in, and sometimes after that, or sometimes after the wifi setting screen the same thing happens, just loading and freezing up. Would like to hear some tips, if it is not nessesary i would like to fix it myself and not take it to a reparir shop. Iphone voice memo wont play all the way through Posted: 05 Mar 2022 06:59 AM PST I have a 2 hours and 47 minutes long voice memo that I recorded the other day, and when I try to play it it only plays 20 minutes of it then stops. If I try to skip into parts of the voice memo it just jumps back to the 20 minute mark where it stops. The length says 2 hour and 47 minutes but when I try to extract it to files or copy it to clipboard only that 20 minutes gets extracted or copied to clipboard, so I cant even convert the audio file to some other format. Heres what I have tried so far and didnt work: Set the sound quality from compressed to lossless Download an audio converter and convert it to another audio file format (it only exports that 20 min audio that is playable) Send the voice memo to my email and try to play it on my computer (only that 20 mins get sent) submitted by /u/Detoxical99 [link] [comments]
