- iOS 15.4 DB5—Autocorrect breaks when not using an emoji in keyboard text replacement
- Want to upgrade away from 15.4 Beta how do I do it? Wait for an RC update or?
- Suggestion: Universal Control and Side Car should make the iPad display the same (or as close) colour and brightness ratios

Posted: 03 Mar 2022 04:23 AM PST If Universal Control or SideCar is being used, it can also be assumed that both devices are right next to each other in the same room. So the sensors from one device (lets say the MacBook) that determine the MacBook's calibration could be used to control the calibration on the iPad, similar to how you can colour calibrate your Apple TV with your iPhone, With the current iPad and MacBook Pros, they basically have identical specifications, with differences (AFAK) only being screen size, pixel density, and Mini LED density, none of which really contribute to colour accuracy or brightness. Being able to match the two displays would make working on say two documents much less jarring if the displays could auto match, even if it was just close enough. Doing it manually is really hard and gets ruined as soon as auto brightness kicks back in. [link] [comments] |
