- I updated my card but my phone didn’t, now, after i’ve removed all subscriptions, it won’t let me update it due to a subscription.

It won't let me change it due to a subscription being active, however, there should be no active subscriptions. There is also $25 on the account, but it's useless. Thank you in advance. | Sharing internet via thunderbolt VPN not working Posted: 18 Mar 2022 05:07 PM PDT I want to share my wifi connection via thunderbolt to cat5 and the connection works. But on my host macbook I am running a VPN and want the connection to go through the VPN. Right now it is working but just using my wifi and not using the VPN. Does anyone have a solution for this? | iPhone screen turn of then on again Posted: 18 Mar 2022 04:29 PM PDT So ever since i update my iPhone 13 to the latest 15.4 it start doing it like the screen just turns off on me when i using it, i even try reseting it when it turns back on but it doesn't help ( and the screen is the only thing that turns off because i try by saying hey Siri and it did response ) so it just the screen that turns off on me. The notification looked like your average system preferences notification, not a pop up from an internet browser, nor was it an email. So I went to check it out from the system preferences, and for some reason my apple id is now not active and my mac tells me that the id has been locked for security reasons, and I should go change it in https://iforgot.apple.com address. Has my mac been infected by a virus, or is this a legitimate site I can trust and go change my password safely? [link] [comments] |
| Using Magic Mouse with Windows 10 *without* software/driver installation Posted: 18 Mar 2022 03:42 PM PDT After a good deal of Googling, I'm pretty certain I know the answer to my question ("not possible"), but I thought I would reach out in a last ditch effort to see if anyone has a suggestion. I received a Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse for Christmas this year and unfortunately, my new work computer is an HP. I was able to pair the keyboard via Bluetooth and can use it without issue/needing to reprogram any keys, but the mouse is unresponsive, even though it paired via Bluetooth several times. Neither left or right click work, nor does scrolling and I tried to mess around with the mouse settings in Windows, just in case. I see many articles about using the Bootcamp driver to make the mouse (and particularly scrolling) functional on Windows, but my work computer is locked down tight through administrator settings, so there is no way for me to download and install a driver. Even if there is a workaround to make it happen, I'd probably get my ass kicked for circumventing protective measures. Is there any option to make the Magic Mouse functional with my new laptop? My work sent a WIRED keyboard and mouse with the laptop, so if anything, I'll be buying a PC-capable wireless mouse with my own money (I welcome recommendations on that, as well!). I am completely lost about display link working or not for air m1 when I was researching it. Currently getting by work using my gaming PC but would want to use my air since it's my consulting machine. What Google told me is display links can break with OS updates, is that true? Are there 100% reliable display link units out there to give me second monitor access on my air m1? I have two LG 27in 4k monitors. | All of my AirPods "disappeared" from my devices Posted: 18 Mar 2022 02:49 PM PDT All of my AirPods "disappeared" from my devices With the latest software update it seems like all of my AirPods devices are no longer in my Bluetooth connections, I am unable to connect them to any of my devices. They don't show up on my Bluetooth anymore, if I open the case near my device either nothing happens, or the "not your AirPods" message shows up. Initially I tried factory resetting the AirPods and then I could get them to connect to my device but only for about a minute or two before they would disconnect and the whole process would repeat itself. I have several AirPods, and several Apple devices in the issue persists across all of them. I reached out to support and they said it was an issue they knew about and were working on but I just wanted to check here and see if anybody else had this issue or found a fix. Pretty annoying having all of my AirPods essentially just Bricked This is with my iPhone 13 pro, iPad Pro, and Apple TV. All my other Bluetooth devices work normally including my Apple Watch. My AirPods Pro's, my AirPods gen 2 and gen 3, my AirPods max's and my Powerbeats are all effected and all cannot connect to my devices. [link] [comments] |

This seems to be an OS-level issue -- I cannot generate the character in any window or application. I looked in the keyboard settings and cannot find that those keys have been remapped.
