    I just bought the new iPhone 13 [ normal ] the mic at first was working completely fine but it suddenly stopped working I tried searching on Youtube but nothing helped. it's up to date IOS 15.3.1 and I'm careful with it.

    Syncing google photos to apple photos

    Currently I use google photos as a backup for my photos, along with my regular icloud backup. I just find Google's AI so much better, and I've never used an iphone before this year so most of my photos are on Google anyways.

    I currently have my iphone 11 synced up so that photos automatically upload to both apple and google photos. When I delete my photos using google photos it'll automatically delete off apple photos as well, but it doesn't go the other way around. I mainly use the apple photos app, and when I delete my pictures off there, it doesn't automatically delete them off google photos. Thus, my google photos is always cluttered with random photos. Is there any way to get around this?

    tldr; How do I make it so when I delete my pictures off apple photos, it automatically deletes off google photos too?

    Question: iPhone X dies when locked and not used for a day.

    Recently got and factory reset an iPhone X. I use it for recording only so it sits unused for a day or two at a time. When I come back to it it's always dead?

    I use it to film, then hit the lock button and set it down. The screen is off, no apps are open, infact since I don't have any apps installed besides the base ones. What is causing it to die when it's not in use?

    Can you manually control the color temp when shooting 4K60 HDR?

    I can't find a way to manually control color temperature when shooting in 4K60fps HDR with my 12 Pro Max - even using 3rd party apps. They all seem locked to 4K30 or don't do HDR.

    Anyone know a way to do this? I'm shooting video product demos, and even with high-quality lighting, I can't keep the iPhone from fluctuating the temperature wildly throughout the video. I just want to keep it at a constant temperature - like 4500K or whatever.

    Contacts added my birthday to my iCal... How can I see who it was?

    Two of my contacts must have added my birthday to my contact card, which is cool. But it's linked and showing up in my iCal in green. One says "[my name] Birthday" and the other says "Happy Birthday!" (which indicates that they knew it would show up in my calendar...)

    I didn't know this was possible. How can I see who added them?

    Music / iTunes issue

    So for years I've had two albums on my iPhone that I ripped from CD - 1) old rare album from the 90s and 2) a mix of particular versions of hip hop remix tracks that are quite rare.

    Neither are in Apple Music as albums.

    My phone was stolen this week and whilst everything was backed up on the cloud, when I've downloaded onto a new iPhone 13, I've noticed (1) has disappeared completely and (2) half the tracks have disappeared and the other half replaced by substandard generic versions from Apple Music rather than the rare mixes.

    I still have the CDS at home and the mp3s are probably still in my iTunes on my computer but I haven't synced an iphone to it for years now…

    The weird thing is that when I upgraded from my iPhone X to the 11 in 2019…this issue didn't come it.

    How can I solve it?

    I'll keep it brief. I used to be an early iphone user and currently have a macbook pro M1. My galaxy z fold 2 recently broke (my fault) and I'm considering heading back to iPhone for a long term try out until the Fold 4 arrives. I have an apple watch that I love, and was using it with my fold but setup with an old iPhone 8 I had.

    Anyway I'm thinking about getting the iPhone 13 pro. I think the pro max is too big for day to day use.

    Anyway has anyone switched from android recently? Any regrets?

    Please help me! “cellular plan ready to be installed”

    Holy cow please help me. I've set up my sons watch on my phone since he doesn't have one. It's an iPhone 11.

    The watch is a series 5 with cellular. It's through T-Mobile. The cellular is working on it.

    About every hour I'm getting an alert on my phone that says "cellular plan ready to be installed". My son is getting it on his watch just as often.

    I can't for the life of me figure out what the heck is going on and why it keeps saying that.

    Wife calls stranger; their iPhone shows my name calling…?!?!

    My wife called a business contact today. When they answered, they said "Who's Brian?" because my name had shown up on the caller ID. Not her name or number; my name.

    They tried to figure it out. Confirmed they were both on iPhones, and confirmed they had my wife (and certainly not me) in their contacts with her name and her number. They have called and texted in the past and it has always shown my wife as the caller.

    Any suggestions???? Her work is sensitive and it's kind of important to fix this.

    Contact Syncing

    I just recently upgraded to the Iphone 13 and was trying to transfer my contacts from my Iphone 6. I ran into trouble finding any comprehensive guide that could help when I realized I had no clue how. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Imbalance between ear speaker and bottom speaker in Iphone 13 Pro Max

    I've never owned an iphone up until now and today I notice there is a disparity between the two speakers. I tried to compare the two speakers by turning up mono sound in the settings and change the balance between all the way to the left and then to the right. It seems the bottom speakers sound louder and fuller / more bassy, while the ear speaker definitely being not as loud and bassy. Is this normal? Should I be worried?
