It feels just as premium but less than have the weight. Not only that. I don't have to worry about it breaking it's glass back like I do with my 11. I don't have to baby it. I've tried everything to get it out. I've Left it in rice Cleaned the iPhone port with cotton swabs and toothpicks Connected actual headphones and disconnected There is no trace of water left anywhere in the headphone jack. | Iphone has been my best decision Posted: 04 Feb 2022 08:41 AM PST I've never had iphone before, and I would always stick to android due to claims about iphones slowing down, or battery dying out quickly. None of my family uses iphone, except for my mom who had an iphone 5s when it was released. They've been telling me that I would regret buying an iphone before I could ever get one. My mom liked to compare her old iphone experience, and I knew her knowledge could be different to the technology now. Still, something inside of me tells me that I should give it a try, and so I took the risk. All this time, I've been secretly eyeing for an iphone since I like the camera, and its smooth and optimized performance. Just this new year I got my first ever iphone and I couldn't be more happy. Coming from a mac user, the switch wasn't too drastic and I was able to navigate faster. All I could say is, this is by far the best phone I ever had. I do miss the games I used to play only on android, but honestly I don't mind anymore after getting this phone. I don't think I'm ever switching back! [link] [comments] | ||

However, the nearest apple store is hours away. I've actually never been to one. But, there are two Verizon stores in my town. I'm wondering if I should go with Verizon's mobile protect insurance since Verizon is more accessible? I'd like to have some sort of insurance on my phone. I've heard bad things about Asurion and I'd like to work directly with Apple and get Apple parts in potential repairs. However, I've never had to use phone insurance for anything. I looked and saw they texted me 3 minutes prior, and I was 10 minutes into a video, meaning I was actively holding and watching my phone, and no text banner appears/no vibration (yes, in settings both are on and my vibration is a custom long one). I deleted a game (Geometry Dash) and now I want to redownload it again. I go to the appstore and instead if having the download button it shows the $2.99 button. I thought "Okay, this must be a glitch. I'll try clicking it anyway." Then when I click it it shows the loading icon for a second then it goes back to $2.99. | IOS 15.3 iPhone 11 wifi will not connect Posted: 04 Feb 2022 09:52 AM PST So I've had my phone for about a year now and this has never happened before. When I connect to the wifi, the little wifi icon will appear for a second, then disappear. I've tried turning on/off airplane mode, restarting my phone, forgetting the wifi service and reconnecting by entering the password, but it still won't connect to the wifi. It isn't an unstable wifi connection it's secured. What do I do? EDIT: I finally got it to work! Turns out, I had to redownload this app which gave my phone a VPN, and apparently, when a VPN gets disconnected, the device will not automatically connect to the internet unless the VPN can connect to the server first. | Battery drains while phone is off? Posted: 04 Feb 2022 04:27 PM PST Hey guys, I currently use the iPhone 11 (brand new). I've had it since the beginning of October and everything has been fine. Last week however, I started noticing that whenever I'm at work and keep my phone in my bag during my shift, whenever I get on break the battery drops all the way to 50%. It happened again today and it has never been an issue. Also noticed that my phone case was slightly warm. When I finished my shift completely, my battery went down to 14%. I'm a little confused how everything was fine and then suddenly this is happening. My battery health is at 100% if that helps and I always turn off my phone before my shifts. I also had a VPN app on my phone (which I thought might have been the issue) but it wasn't on, & I deleted on my break today but the battery still drained. So that got me to wonder actually how good is it. I read https://www.techradar.com/uk/news/what-is-apples-ceramic-shield-the-iphone-protection-tech-explained about it. I know a lot of people here swear by going caseless. I don't, I especially wouldn't risk my phone without a case in a toddlers hands. In fact I have a toddler and I have let her play with my phone, with its case on. iPhone 12 and 13 series owners who go caseless. If you've dropped it, did it survive. I had AppleCare so it was covered, but they had to replace the whole screen which was good for me cause I had deep scratches that couldn't be fixed. Anyone else have a similar problem happen to them? | need to spend/transfer my apple id balance Posted: 04 Feb 2022 08:05 PM PST so i am stuck with $1725 apple id balance. i accumulated it by redeeming multiple apple gift cards to purchase 13 pro max and an apple watch. since i redeemed multiple GCs in a short span of time Apple disabled my apple id. i contacted support and got it sorted out but apparently they enabled it in only appstore and itunes. i am not able to place orders online from the online store apple.com. i am able to download apps and make in app purchases. i tried contacting apple support regarding this but they act like they dont even know about this. they keep transferring me to multiple departments but to no avail. Aside from me wasting my time trying to explain the situation to apple support, i would like to know about workarounds if there are any since i am able to make in app purchases, is there any app or a way where i can pay the said service/app with my apple id balance and use that on another platform. at this point of time i am okay with the conversion cost if there is any I haven't placed an iPhone order in the past from this Apple Account [link] [comments] |
