Apple Help iPhone Unavailable

I took apart my MBP to clean the dusts off. It was such a hassle and got it done. Now, the middle two screws out the 4 on the bottom side of the back panel won't screw back in. I can turn it about 4-5 revolutions but it won't screw in all the way (trust me I tried and even may have caused some permanent damage to the standoff and my bit). What should I do? Edit: solved!

unknown accessory detected in find my ?

got a notification that an unknown accessory was detected near me at 5:42pm. i had been in my dorm from 3:30 to 6:30, then at 6:30 went to grab dinner and came back to my dorm. the accessory looked like it either started tracking at my dorm or on my way to dinner , but didn't follow me to the exact location where i went. as of typing this its still at my location (the dorm). i don't have an option to play a sound - i tried to "learn more about this item" and "instructions to disable item" but it said "find my unavailable. unable to connect to server" should i be concerned ? checked my bags and coat pockets and shoes and anything else i could think of , didn't find an airtag. the dorm has close to 100 people so i'm thinking that my phone picked up someone else's device and thought it was mine. should i call someone , the police or something similar ? thanks for any advice ! :'))

Accidentally spilled acetone all over iPhone 12 Pro max

As the title says; I was trying to remove a bolt I had superglued to a watch-back that I was having trouble removing, after getting it off I decided it was a genius idea to soak the watch back with the bolt in a plastic cup filled with acetone. I set it on my desk on top of a book with my phone right next to it and almost immediately after filling the cup it started leaking and dissolved the entire bottom of the cup, leaking acetone all over my textbook and iPhone. I've tested all 3 rear cameras, vibration, earpiece and regular speaker and everything seems to be functioning properly.. the display doesn't seem to be affected either but I am a big worrier and unsure if any internal damage could have occured.. I'm unsure if acetone reached the front speaker as I was in a panicked frenzy grabbing for a towel.. if anyone has any advice that could be useful I would greatly appreciate it as my blood pressure is through the roof right now..

IPhone 12 pro max stuck on Apple logo/restore screen

There has to be a way to fix iPhones when this type of shit happens, I refuse to believe that if you accidentally mess up your $1200 iPhone, it's garbage and you have to buy a new one...

I shattered my screen on my Samsung galaxy, so my boy gave me an iPhone 12 max pro.. But it's all fucked up..

It won't turn on unless I plug it in via charger or laptop, >when it does turn on, I get a blinking/flashing apple logo..apple support and everything online says put it in recovery mode(is recovery mode the same as restore mode? I'm not certain but I don't think it is..) so volume + then volume - then hold power button is supposed to work.. But doesn't work for mine, if I press/release volume +, press/release volume -, then hold power button, it jsut still gives me blinking logo - unless I press and hold volume - while still holding power button, then I get the restore screen support.apple.com/iphone/restore...

I downloaded iTunes and updated it to the latest version, but iTunes won't discover iPhone when connected to laptop.. My laptop won't even acknowledge it when I plug it in, but the USB port on my laptop is working fine because it's acknowledging everything else I plug in to it... I downloaded a few programs thst claimed they could bypass the restore screen, and the programs couldn't detect the iPhone either...

Called n talked to Apple support, when I described my situation the guy on the phone was lost, he had no solution for me, all he told me to do was everything I had already did prior to calling support (I never call support, I always figure out a way to get it done myself)

So... Is this fixable?? There no way it's just a paperweight now, right?

I thought kali had some tools to bypass the blinking logo/restore screen but I think all they have for iPhone is bypass activation lock and other useless tools to me..

Any help, advice or suggestions are encouraged and greatly appreciated!!

How do I extract photos from a local iTunes backup on my Mac?

Hey everyone,

I have a full local iTunes backup of a family member's iPhone 8 on my Mac (~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/). They have a ton of important photos with a lot of sentimental value in this, but they're not in a browsable form, so I need to find a way to get the photos out of this backup and send it to them.

The backup was taken on March 2020, which means that it is most likely some version of iOS 13. Normally I would restore the backup onto the phone, get the photos out, and then reset the phone again, but this iPhone 8 is now being actively used for work so I can't mess with it in the slightest (plus I think iOS 13 is too old now to be put back onto a device?)

They only care about the photos in this backup, nothing else. Do you know of any method or software to get photos out of it? I've googled around a lot and found a lot of random, obscure sounding third party tools that claim to be able to do this but they are all paid/limited trials. Ideally I'd like to avoid paying but I don't mind as long as I know I'm buying the right thing based on your recommendations, and that it'll get the job done.

Deleted 10 years of photos from iCloud...any ideas on what I can do?

Hey guys, so I had an iPhone 8 for the last several years until recently getting the 13. After upgrading, I realized there was still a couple random small things I could use the old phone for. However, it was at its storage limit and also getting slow, so I deleted all my photos from it, as they were also stored on iCloud as well as my Macbook. The iPhone 8 only gave me the space I needed when I also deleted everything from recently deleted. A few days later, I realized that all the photos were also gone from my Macbook's Photos, so I checked iCloud, which they were also gone from. I realized that even when I got my new phone and hooked it up to my account and iCloud, my old phone was still synced with iCloud, so when I deleted my photos from my old phone, they were erased from everywhere. I triple checked on both my Macbook photos app and iCloud, as well as both of their recently deleted folders. 10 years of photos and videos just went down the drain because of my stupid mistake.

Apple support said they weren't able to recover the data when I called since I cleared the photos from my old iPhone's recently deleted, and all I can think of is restoring a backup of my old phone from like 2 years ago and just losing recent photos. Is there anything at all I can do to recover them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Deleted Music on iTunes Not Being Deleted

Hi so I'm using a macOS Monterey 12.2.1 MacBook, and I've been noticing lately that whenever I delete a song off of my iTunes or add a song to a playlist, whenever I update my Mac or quit the app sometimes, the deleted songs will still be there and the songs I added to my playlist won't be in my playlist. And I'll also remove a song from a playlist and that won't delete either. Has this been happening to anyone else?

How to reinstall original Mac OS that my Mac shipped with? (M1 MacBook)

Is this still even possible? I remember on the Intel Macs you could hold Shift+Option+Command+R to get into recovery in order to reinstall the version of Mac OS that the machine originally shipped with. But with the new M1 machines the method for entering recovery has changed and it seems I now only have the option to reinstall the current OS version. Has Apple seriously removed this option on M1 Macs? Essentially making it impossible to roll back to older Mac OS versions? If not then does anyone know how I can possibly do this?

Contacts added my birthday to my iCal... How can I see who it was?

Two of my contacts must have added my birthday to my contact card, which is cool. But it's linked and showing up in my iCal in green. One says "[my name] Birthday" and the other says "Happy Birthday!" (which indicates that they knew it would show up in my calendar...)

I didn't know this was possible. How can I see who added them?

Videos get extremely bright even when my brightness is low

This tends to happen on reddit but has been recently happening on all of my video players and it is extremely frustrating. Auto brightness is off and it still does it. What is going on? Google has been no help.
