    Edit: I Just spoke to Apple Support and we went through everything together and it doesn't seem to be anything suspicious going on. I changed my passcode and Apple ID password but I might back up my phone and factory reset it just to be on the safe side. Thanks so much to everyone who responded. I'm guessing I honestly did it in my sleep which is kind of scary also.

    Edit 2: I don't have any gas connected to my apartment and no gas appliances at all so I don't think it would be possible to have carbon monoxide poisoning. The screen recording had started just a few moments before I woke up, so I think it's entirely possible I typed in my passcode while asleep, then actually woke up, and found it recording. My display is a bit smashed up with a blown speaker so I can imagine it maybe glitching like that. To be on the safe side, I'll run my sleep app tonight and record audio to see if I do anything strange.

    Please somebody me, I'm shaking and genuinely terrified.

    I woke up just then in the middle of the night and checked my phone. Weirdly, it was screen recording and had been for a few moments. I stopped screen recording thinking maybe I'd just hit the buttons in my sleep. But a password was typed in. While I was asleep.

    I turned off the screen recording, watched it a few times, and just immediately turned my phone off.

    I'm really really hoping I just somehow did it in my sleep.

    Can someone please please help me figure out what to do? Can I sign into my Apple ID, check privacy settings, review anything? Should I take it to an Apple centre ASAP? Should I even turn my phone on?

    Please help me here, anything I can do.

    Apple has sent my AirPods untracked?

    I'm in the UK. So last month I purchased a new £20 charger and they sent it tracked via DPD.

    However I just ordered 3rd generation AirPods (£169) and they are coming untracked via Royal Mail (a much, much cheaper service). It says in the email no tracking service will be available as it's coming "via post".

    Does anyone know why some items come via tracked courier and others don't?

    Apple refused to swap my 2018 13" MBP with the 14" MBP - what can I do?

    Basically long story short, my 13" MacBook Pro 2018 model has had three repairs due to the failing butterfly keyboard. Apple has now proposed to swap my 13" 2018 with the M1 MacBook Pro.

    However, this MacBook only has two TB as opposed to my MacBook Pro 2018 which has four. I use all four simeltaneously to power several monitors. This is not possible on the M1 MacBook Pro. I feel like I got a downgrade. Apparently, it is possible to pay extra to upgrade to higher end models in some cases, but for some reason my case isn't severe enough?

    Do you guys know anything I can do about this?

    Hi!

    I just got my first macbook 3 hours ago. My old laptop was a Dell one. I have been trying to move all of my data from my old windows one to the macbook. I installed the migration assistant on the windows one and I've been waiting for 30 minutes for them to connect. I don't understand why. I've tried 3 different wireless networks and even my own mobile data but the mac still can't find the dell one. What am I doing wrong?

    Stolen iPhone questions

    So my iPhone 11 pro max ios 15 got stolen back in November and it always showed the last location it was at in Find My. The guy has sent like two attempts to hack me through text messages. One saying iPhone was located and the other saying photos have been shared. Both with links. I never clicked either link. Never erased it since I'm hoping to recover it.

    Back in the middle of January phone got turned on again but this time after it went offline it says "no location found". It's been like that since. I'm wondering why it says no location found after all this time and not before.

    Also, how do I know if my iPhone gets activation lock removed? I don't think he hacked it since no emails from apple about login attempts that weren't me and in Find My it still shows the locked icon.

    Non noticeable dead pixel(I guess). I bought an iPhone 13 pro max through the official website in November. I have very very small dead pixel so small I actually can’t even get it on another phone camera. Looks black from a normal non closed up angle.

    Connect 2 external monitors on Macbook Air (M1 2020)

    I have a Macbook Air (M1, 2020). I have bought 2 cheap monitors (they are the same) that support daisy chain (they both have a display port and a HDMI port on their back side).

    I have read that Mac Air does not support more than 1 external monitors, but that there are ways to work around that.

    I was wondering if i should buy a Usb C to dual HDMI adapter (adapter link) so that i could have 2 external monitors. I would connect both of my monitors on this adapter and plug the adapter in my Mac. I was wondering if this would work.

    Dropped phone now touchscreen won't work and has that white side. Has no lock screen so I gotta find a way to factory reset without using touchscreen since I can't. Can't sell until factory reset. Laptop won't connect since I need touchscreen to confirm. What are my options?

    I connected my AirPods Pro to a Bluetooth receiver earlier and now I can only connect them to my phone for a few seconds before they reconnect to the Bluetooth receiver. The Bluetooth receiver doesn't have a screen, so there's no way to make the device forget the AirPods that I know of. The manual for the Bluetooth receiver doesn't have any instructions on how to forget devices, either.

    Factory resetting my AirPods caused a whole ton of issues last time, and I don't want to go through that again. How can I make my AirPods forget the Bluetooth receiver without resetting them?

    How to fix corrupt iPhone iOS downloads using Mac?

    Hi! I need to recover a friends iPhone Xr that was stuck in a loading screen. We connected it in Macbook with macOS Monterey and clicked the "Restore and Update". However, after downloading, it tells that the update files are corrupt and needs to be deleted. Now, we don't know where to find the corrupted files, and the tutorials available in the web search are only for later macOS versions. Any idea on this one?

    How to control iPhone through Mac

    I have a light app on my phone that controls the LED lights in my room and can change the colours of the lights based on where I slide my finger. I would like to automate this process and use macros to do so but this can only be done on my Mac. So I want to connect my phone to the Mac and manipulate the light app from there but I can't find a way to control my phone through my Mac. I've tried using switch control but in order for me to use the macros on my mac I would need to have an interactive version of my phone on my laptop screen but this doesn't seem possible.

    I've also searched for iPhone apps that can automate the process so as to exclude the need for my Mac altogether but they're not complex enough to allow me to work within the light app.

    I've also tried to download the light app on my Mac but it's not available on laptops.

    If anyone knows any way to control the app on my phone so I can use macros to automate the changing of my lights that would be great!

    There’s something in my screen time called you-him-me.com. Anyone know what this is? It’s been like this for a couple days now and I’m worried wether or not it’s some sort of malware. Searched it up and couldn’t find anything regarding the name.

    AirTag Showing Old/Wrong Location?

    Okay, so we shipped our vehicle recently, and put an AirTag in it. It was updating correctly as I also have a track of application from the shipping company…. We just checked today, and it's showing the location we dropped the car off to a few months ago? We're just confused, because it was updating smoothly until the last couple weeks? It isn't even showing the most updated location, it's the initial one where our phone last connected to it. anyone have any insight?

    Recently updated from 6s to SE (iOS 15.1). I read on my phone all the time and often use the look up function but some setting has changed and it no longer works. Clicking “Learn more…” (and googling) hasn’t helped me figure it out. I’m at a loss.
