I don't have do not disturb turned on 2. I have tried resetting my network settings. 3. I have tried resetting my phone as new and restored my backup. I still face this issue. I have contacted my cellular company and was advised because it is iPhone to iPhone/iMessage to iMessage there was no way to do such a thing. I need to know if there is a way to permanently delete/permanently block a number because blocking a number is temporary. You can easily in .01 seconds unblock a phone number anybody have any clues? It takes several attempts plugging them in to actually get them to charge and on different chargers. I have looked all over the Internet regarding this and have found some relevant information but nothing that clicks great so far. So I have always used my iPhone Reminders app to basically live my life. Over the past few years I find that it is usually slow and laggy. And over the past few weeks, it is lagging even more. This new lagging probably came after I updated my phone but I'm not positive. When I tap to mark an item completed, it takes many seconds for it to first kind of gray out and then finally disappear. I have lots of space on my phone. I don't know what else to do and I'm thinking of getting a different app if anyone has suggestions. Thank you for any insight into this. Posted: 27 Jan 2022 09:36 PM PST Issue: Alarms created through the Clock app manually or through Siri voice commands are not triggering at all. Or Alarms created through the Clock app manually or through Siri voice commands trigger, however the phone does not vibrate, does not play any sound and does not wake the screen. Additionally, when asked "Siri, when is my next alarm?" Sometimes Siri will correctly respond with the next alarm, be it one manually created or one created through Siri voice commands, or will incorrectly state there are no active alarms even though the Clock app is displaying active alarms. Troubleshooting: I have checked and re-checked all sound, vibrate and volume settings are enabled and on max volume. The device is not on Silent mode. I have flipped from Silent mode On/Off in any combination of steps while creating new alarms. Sleep and Health are not configured. I have deleted the alarm and recreated it. Either of the two scenarios under "issue" will occur at random. I have created individual per-day alarms, and all possible combinations for the 7 days of the week, issue will present itself on either variation at random. It may be the case that an alarm for "Insert Day Here" will work, and without any changes to the schedules, volume, silent mode, ring tones, alarm tones etc the same alarm will present any of the scenarios under issues at random a week later. I have created alarms at "odd" times (7:57 or 8:08 instead of 8:00), the issue persists on either variation at random. I am unable to simply restore my phone to factory settings due 2FA apps. | iPhone 8 making weird repetitive noise (iOS 14.6) Posted: 28 Jan 2022 12:51 AM PST Feeling very scared at 4 am because I woke up to hear a very faint repetitive noise coming from my phone that was plugged in beside my bed. Almost as if a 3-4 second TikTok video had been playing… this was not a notification sound. It sounded like some clicks and maybe even a human breath/laugh (I was not conscious enough to retain exact details I'm sorry!). My screen was off, I hadn't touched my phone all night, no music/audio was displayed and when I opened my phone it stopped. It is quite possible that other sounds had been happening that led to me waking up. I am very disturbed. Has my phone been hacked? Is it going to blow up in my face? [link] [comments] | ||
