    Sound/vibrate alerts not working for messages

    Hi everyone,

    Over the last couple of days, I've noticed that my phone doesn't sound or vibrate a lot of the time when receiving a text message (although it does sometimes). The badge and banner notifications seem to be working as expected. I checked all the obvious things like making sure silent mode or Focus aren't on, that I have sound notifications turned on for messages, that the volume is turned up high enough for me to hear it, etc. I even went as far as restoring from an iCloud backup this morning. The issue still seems to be there. The sound, haptics, and vibration functions seem to be otherwise functioning normally aside from this concern.

    I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this issue, possibly following the most recent upgrade to 15.2.1? I don't know if the upgrade would have anything to do with it or not, but I do know that part of the upgrade was supposed to be a fix to a separate messaging issue.

    Also, any recommendations on other things I can check would also be greatly appreciated, as I'm no expert by any means.

    How to add custom font to work with captions in iPhone 13 Pro Max?

    I remember Font or Fonts working with my iPhone 7 Plus to add custom fonts that work with subtitles via adjustable settings of captions as I love using OCR-a for subtitles. Even though I installed profiles and stuff with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I can't use any ocr-a font I found on the internet to select from the font options. How can I do this?

    So I've recently done the new update, only for the focus mode for certain apps (which I honestly regret.) How can I change the layout of safari tabs switching from the squares to the stack? Here's the photo of the squares.

    Why can't I multitask while on a Zoom call without my camera turning off?

    It works for FaceTime, but nothing else. Why has Apple made such an asinine decision to restrict 3rd party apps from using the camera while multitasking? The instant I switch to another app, even if only to check my email, the camera turns off, and doesn't turn back on until Zoom is full-screen again. Very annoying, and limits the multitasking capabilties of the phone for no reason. It's also very frustrating that the newer "Max" phones don't support landscape mode for the home screen like the older "plus" phones did.

    Is there a maximum amount of gbs for your top conversation in iMessage?

    My top is 1.8gb and idk if that's a lot or not much compared to yall, does it affect anything? I still have 7 gbs left on my phone

    Do not disturb on new IOS

    With the new update a bunch changed in the do not disturb settings. I want it so that notifications do pop up on my lock screen, but without waking the display or vibration. I cant seem to get this to work with the new update. Its either no notifications at all, or a screen that wakes with every received message, which I find to be very distracting. Any ways to get it to work like in the old version?

    Group messages with android users come in as separate messages

    Like the title says, a few months ago any group messages that had a non-iPhone user started coming in as separate messages (not in the group chat). Even the iPhone users messages come in separately. I'm not sure what happened or changed but was wondering if there was an easy fix.

    Spotlight Web Searches keep opening previous search instead of new one.

    I have had this mildly inconvenient problem since I got my iPhone 12 last year. It's my first iPhone after being a long time Android user so this might just be something I'm missing.

    But when I swipe down to open spotlight and do a web search about 60% of the time it will open a new safari tab with what I just searched in Google. It's great!

    The issue is the other 40% of the time I will search something and when the new tab of Safari opens it's the previous search. This is annoying, but I normally just reopen spotlight and hit the search again and it functions properly. But It's starting to get really bothersome when it's a feature I use so much.

    This has happened with both Bing and Google. I am using Safari and I had this issue with both iOS 14 and 15.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Emojis not always popping up?

    Anyone know why the emoji for a word sometimes pops up as a suggested word above the keyboard and sometimes it doesn't? For example, sometimes I type a word like "mosquito" and the emoji for it pops up as a suggestion so I can hit it quickly and sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas?

    Screen keeps going black while listening to voice messages

    I use an iPhone 12, on iOS 15.2 (not that it matters, this has been happening before the update too). The screen keeps turning off while listening to a voice message and the voice message is quite buggy in general. It happens on pretty much every app (WhatsApp, Snapchat, instagram). It's super annoying. How do I fix it?

    Downloading embedded videos in iphone apps

    I am part of a group and they share video lectures through a dedicated iPhone App. I would like to download them and watch them on different devices as and when I need it. At the moment, I could only watch through the app. Are there any ways to download these embedded videos in iphone apps?

    What is triggering iOS apps to keep sending me security codes because they don’t “recognize” my device that i’ve been using for years?

    Like seriously is anyone else experiencing this with banking apps/financial? I understand the importance of security but how are you going to protect me from myself? It's annoying at the very least

    Create locked notes by default?

    The only way I've found to make a locked note (end to end encrypted) is to: 1. Tap + to create note 2. Type some character "a" 3. Tap "…" and "Lock"

    Is there no way to make notes lock by default?
