As title states, seems like icloud is having login issues? If anyone sees an official apple response or is having the same issue please post here. This is not tech support for anything.

Apple will not refund you the trade in credit if you returned your new device

    Posted: 25 Jan 2022 09:44 AM PST

Here's my story. After a dozen or so Apple support agents don't seem to understand Apple is keeping my money.

I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max in Dec. I traded in my iPhone 12 Pro as an instant credit for $640 and the rest ($459) on the Apple Card. The trade in was clear in Dec. Since there was a holiday return period I ultimately returned the new device iPhone 13 Max Pro in Jan 7 because it was too big.

Apple refunded the $459 on my Apple Card. They refused to refund the $640 credit I used to pay for the new device. They all said the transaction was completed. There will be no additional credit. I essentially lose the iPhone 12 Pro because I returned the new device. Does anyone else understand what is happening??

IF YOU TRADE IN YOUR DEVICE TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE, IF YOU RETURN THE NEW DEVICE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR OLD TRADE IN DEVICE CREDIT! THEY ESSENTIALLY JUST TAKE THEM.

What’s the point of iCloud for photos, if when you delete a photo from your iPhone, it is also deleted from iCloud?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2022 01:38 PM PST

I'm soon getting an iPhone 12, and I thought that 64 GB would be enough for me as iCloud wouldn't be a big expense for me. I heard that photos delete automatically from iCloud when they are deleted from iPhone, so what's going to happen when I eventually start running out of storage on my iPhone, and thus, what's the point of iCloud for photos if I don't have any other iDevice to utilize that storage for photos from it?
