I have realised that over the past weeks, my iphone thinks that i'm in Hungary when i'm in Sweden, for example i get Hungarian ads on Youtube and on chrome when i search something to buy, the product is automatically in HUF (Hungarian money) instead of SEK (swedish money) in phone settings region and time is set in sweden aswell my google account set in Sweden, but it still manages to happen Help please :) [link] [comments] | ||

I tried the method where you plug your phone up to your pc and reset it via iTunes, but a popup saying "unlock iphone to use USB devices" comes up, I can't unlock my phone. It thinks I'm entering and my old iPhone passcode and asks for my iPad one. So I went and changed my iPad passcode and now it just says it's incorrect. The weird thing is the new iPad code is 4 digits. It used to be 6. I'm so confused. I'm worried I'm going to brick my new iPhone. Can't find anything online about this. I can't even find an example of an iPhone asking for an iPad passcode. Super weird. Why doesn't it need it? Anyone have this issue? [link] [comments] | ||
| iPhone 12 Pro display off white? Posted: 30 Dec 2021 01:24 AM PST Coming from an iPhone XR I had huge expectations for the OLED display with an higher resolution. Instead the white on the iPhone 12 Pro display had a yellow tint. The display award replaced at the store and had a reddish tint. The iPhone 12 Pro was send in for repair and came back I repaired with a note that the display was functioning within spec. Until today I continue to prefer to like the color of the iPhone XR and it was the first time in 40 years that I was truly disappointed with an Apple product. Posted: 29 Dec 2021 10:01 PM PST Hello, I'm using an iPhone 7 plus running iOS 15.1, and I was taking pictures with the phone connected to the wifi and at first I was confused why the photos I took were all blurry (not because of shaky hands) so I think it automatically uploaded my photos to iCloud but at that moment, I think my iCloud storage was full, and when my phone disconnected from the wifi, the photos turned gray and I can't view them anymore. It only says 'Cannot Load Photo,' and they're put in an album called 'Unable to Upload' I also tried upgrading my iCloud storage and tried to go to settings to download and keep originals but it's still not showing, does anyone know how to recover the photos? My problem is when i try to copy the link, it opens up a preview window to that website. How do i disable this? | Photo colors reverse on ios 14.7 Posted: 29 Dec 2021 07:07 PM PST Purchase at Best Buy in March,2021. For no reason that I could see, eight days ago the colors reversed on some apps and photos. The photos look like old-fashioned film negatives. It happens randomly, but affects Safari most of all. I have not found a setting that seemed relevant, so I haven't done anything except reboot, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. [link] [comments] | ||

This problem seems to be fixed when I put on my headphones via the headphones adapter thats plugged in through the charger port (I have an Iphone 11) Tested my mic with voice memos, and the audio is fine. | Battery Drain on a new iPhone 11 Posted: 29 Dec 2021 06:18 PM PST I purchased a new iPhone 11 last week and have started to notice a high battery drain. It was fine for the first 2-3 days, where the battery would decrease by 1 percent every 5-10 minutes. I then updated it to iOS 15.2 and it is now dropping by 1 percent every 2-5 minutes with only light internet browsing/social media. Battery Capacity is still 100%, which obviously should not change since the phone is new. However, there is now a message in Battery Health that states, "Your battery health reporting system is recalibrating Maximum Capacity and Peak Performance Capability. This process may take a few weeks." I have contacted Apple Support and they advised me to keep an eye on it. Is this normal for a brand new phone to have these battery issues? | Need to change phone number under email but forgot password Posted: 29 Dec 2021 05:41 PM PST dad updated iphone from 7 to 11, had to change numbers. now we're trying to get in to the gmail to change the number to the new one; he forgot the password and and the one saved in Settings is incorrect. "Forgot password" wants to send the info the old number. We click "I don't have that phone anymore", it asks about the last password remembered, but it has no more ideas so it goes back to the phone number page. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 29 Dec 2021 12:51 PM PST So I got an iPhone se for Christmas. When I'm not connected to the internet safari won't load on cellular data. Safari is allowed to use data in settings. I tried the chrome app and that didn't work either. I can still call and text over data. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it an iOS 15.2 bug?
