| Posted: 28 Dec 2021 02:35 AM PST Hi folks! I have a problem with my own iPhone and some of my customers (I'm a MSP in IT). It happens since the iOS 15.2 update and has something to do with the way the contacts/phone app dails an international noted phone number. Example 1: you have the notation like this "+1 (0)123 456 789", so in international notation with a zero (I'm from The Netherlands, so it's quite common to have it like this), the phone answers me "This number is not in use", but obviously in Dutch. Example 2: you have the notation like this: "+1 123 456 789". Like this, it is all fine. The phone dails the number and we get connected. After some investigation, I found that when a number is noted in the contacts in the way in example 1, it dials the extra zero, resulting in dialing literally "+1 0 123 456 789". That is of course a false number. The problem is, here in The Netherlands, a lot of people have their phone number in their signature of the email and is almost always noted as "+31 (0) 6 123 456 78" (as a Dutch number would be). And because of copy pasting, a lot of contacts in my phone, and most of my customers have it noted like this in their contacts. People with a version bellow 15.2 don't have this problem, I discovered. Do other people recognize this problem? And does someone have a workaround? I will crosspost this in iOS Beta, maybe someone with a beta version knows if this problem is fixed in a newer version. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] | ||

When I clicked to see what it was it kept saying error… my spouse was with me and she has an AirTag on her keys, would it be possible that her AirTag sent the notification to my phone? The phone also turns off whenever I watch a YouTube video and I put it in my pocket, I think this is a feature or something and I can't find how to disable it (if possible in the first place). | Best 3rd Party Weather App for iOS Posted: 28 Dec 2021 05:45 AM PST I'm hunting for the best iOS 3rd party weather app (or at least to finally find one that suits my needs). The updated Apple Weather app in iOS15 is better, but my gripe is that it's difficult to see things more than a day out - I want to quickly and easily see hourly weather 2-5 days out. For example - two days from now at 10AM I want to quickly be able to see temp, wind speed/direction, humidity, UV index. Ideally, in a way that I can easily scrub around and see what that whole day looks like by hour at my leisure without going back and forth between tabs. Used Weatherbug for a bit but not a fan of the tab format. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. Posted: 28 Dec 2021 03:06 AM PST Hi everybody , I Have a 13 pro max and since it's release Apple Music is draining the phone battery even idle and of course i do not use it . for example yesterday i charged my pjhone at 100% , closed all apps and rebooted, 2 hours later of the phone idle in do not disturb , 15% of battery drain by apple music.. i really do not get what to do , i already disabled everything, app background refresh ect..btw i'm on 15.2 but this issue exist since like 15.1 ( the battery life was awesome when i just got it at the release date but it's not as good because of this nasty bug ) i've already wiped out the phone multiples times, restore from iCloud or Mac Backup .. and nothing's changes. Like its missing enabled scheduled notifications, missing apps in storage details, missing recent health datas (headphone audio levels and walking steadiness -- also, don't have any external health device like an Apple Watch). Saving a short video (e.g, a few seconds screen recording), in Photos app, can take several seconds to finish. iOS v14 didn't have these issues.
