Basically, I want to download the entire message history with a friend off iCloud to be viewed whenever I'd like. Possibly be able to put the file on an external drive. It was all on my old Macbook, and I was able to access it all via Library>Messages. I ended up upgrading, though, so I can't do that anymore since it's all on iCloud now. On my camera roll for instance I will have 1 copy of a video. but when I go to my library on my iPhone or on my Mac I have multiple some times even 5 or 6 copies of the same video/photo. Posted: 11 Dec 2021 06:36 AM PST The other day my right airpod wasnt playing audio which has happened before so I went to Bluetooth and forgot them, then held down the button on back so they can pair. They never appeared on my Bluetooth and they have been stuck with the blinking white light sense. When the airpods are not in rhe case it shows a green light and when I put either the left or right or both airpods in it shows the flashing white light in pairing mode so I know both connections are fine. When i reset with them in the case the orange light flashes 3 times and it just goes back to flashing white right after. Ive seen other people with this problem but i havent found a solution, if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know! [link] [comments] |

I noticed that when I try to take a photo/video using the back camera it's unfocused unlike before, and the portrait mode is the only one which is not blurry. I already did every youtube video solutions like wiping the camera, restarting the phone, tap it and even reseting the settings. | 12 Pro Max camera focus issue after update. Posted: 11 Dec 2021 07:47 AM PST My 12 pro max main camera stopped focusing on objects and can no longer scan qr codes at camera 1x. It is very infuriating. Started at IOS 15.1.1. And has passed onto 15.2. I had given feedback to apple and they told it was open as resolution. But it's been nearly a month in this situation. The camera is fine at 0.5x and 2.5x. But at 1x it just won't focus no matter what. Any fix would be appreciated. Is Apple service the only solution? [link] [comments] |

I was texting someone and eventually deleted their texts with me (slid to the left and hit the garbage sign) later realizing they had sent me an audio file that was important to me, when I brought back the texts (by just texting them again) all of our files we sent are now deleted, I am unable to recover them from their side as well. When I try to search anything, whether in the address bar or on a google screen (I have to type google in the address bar to get there), it jumps from google results, to 'ask' to Bing, to yahoo (maybe not in the order). I've tried to check where these other search engines are installed, and I can't find anything. I've tried to update the whole computer and it won't let me. Ads are now sliding in on the top right corner recently. When I'm on Safari, many sites tell me to upgrade to other browsers. Safari also tells me that most sites I'm going to can't connect, or are imposters posing as the site (when I know they're not). I'll be browsing the internet just fine in one tab. Then I open another tab to Google something and Safari all of sudden can't load anything in the new tab. But the original tab I was in loads things just fine, so I know it's not an internet connectivity issue. This has actually been a long standing issue which I thought would be fixed over time, but it hasn't. I have an M1 MacBook Air- but I don't really think that matters. I had this same problem with my older Intel based MacBook as well. It's purely a Safari issue. Are there any fixes for this or should I just stop using Safari? [link] [comments] |

Today, I tried to dictate the phrase "Even drive throughs" and the result was "Even Dr. Through's" which is kind of nonsense. Now, in writing this post, I noticed that if I say the word """ (well that didn't dictate well) before the word "drive" it does spell out the word, so maybe that's my solution. But it would be great if there was a setting somewhere to turn off the AI component of Siri, since it pretty much only makes things worse. Could active noise canceling and live listen be used simultaneously to remove background noise but still hear peoples voices? I would like to do this using an IPhone XS and if needed I am willing to update to current if needed. Whenever I try to send a voice note on whatsapp, i long-press the button to start recording, but it intermittently stops and goes, as if the screen registers my finger lifting up. It worked perfectly alright for a month, no over heating, the battery health was visible. The phone's memory is almost full, with only a couple of hundred Mb left. I forgot to charge the phone and it shutdown, when I tried to turn it on after plugging in it doesn't turn on. The apple logo flashes and the screen goes black with the backlight still turned on. I connected the phone to iTunes and it recognized my device. It suggested to update the phone but then shows "Error 78". Please help, I can't risk losing the data. Thank You. [link] [comments] |
