| Posted: 25 Dec 2021 04:31 AM PST Phone: iPhone XR 64GB (Dual sim, was bought from China 2 years ago) iOS 15.0 The display goes black when you bring the phone closer to your ear while using WhatsApp, Phone or Zoom. This is a normal behaviour. (Although in my case it happens even when I'm not in a WhatsApp call). However, at times, the screen goes black, and refuses to turn back on no matter what. It turns back on only after I press the power button for a really long time. This happens around 4 to 5 times a month, and has been happening for the last 8 or 9 months, and is really annoying to deal with. It has increased this month. They usually show up as no location found in Find My, but every once in a while, they show up as being located at my house. A few weeks ago, they showed up as being at the airport while I was at the airport. A few days ago they showed up again as being at then location I was at. They are DEFINITELY not with me. Which Windows name do I need to enter? The name of my PC (the one I used to connect my Mac to Windows), my Microsoft account name or my username listed under C:\Users? Which leads me to the next problem, I never had a password for my Windows PC because I always used a pin instead and I logged in using my Microsoft Account. The only thing I have tried so far is logging in with my Microsoft account and password but it didn't work. I'm really lost here and any help would be great! I should add that I can log in to my Mac from my Windows PC just fine, just not the other way around. [link] [comments] |

Usually happens when I watch several videos at the same time or if I use audio software like Abletom Live. The audio stops cracking for a period of time after either a restart of killing coreaudiod through activity monitor. However the cycle repeats again and again. I use the 50GB iCloud option, costing 99ct monthly (in Germany). This is paid for with my credit card, since a couple of years. Yesterday I got a mail, that starting Jan 1st 2022, there's a problem with my payment method (my translation, mail is in German). I beleive the mail to be legitimate, as the DKIM signature is correct and the headers are not suspicious. What may cause such a message? May that be because my CC expired and I got a new one (follow-up card, not a whole new one)? The card number is the same, the expiry date and CVC are not. Thinking this may be the issue, I wanted to verify the CC settings, but I can only change them, not view them. So I updated CVC and exp. date - went fine, no issues. Now my question is: How can I be sure that this _was_ the issue and that on Jan. 1st, my iCloud account will not fall back to the free (5GB?) plan, obliterating my photos and other data?
