| Snap/Insta video story volume drops dramatically halfway through idk how to keep it level Posted: 13 Nov 2021 12:53 AM PST When I recorded video through Snapchat or Instagram and put them on either story I notice the sound drops dramatically either halfway or 3/4ths the way in. This is for concerts. I don't want it to drop but I don't know how to stop it. I don't touch the volume button. I check my settings and theres no reduce loud sounds option activated. When I record with iPhone video, nothing is wrong volume says loud and the same this is also for concerts. When it's a normal video with no excessive loud sounds there's no issue. But only through Snapchat or Instagram stories is there an issue. I don't know what to do. It's annoying af and Apple support was useless. This issue only started happening after 2019 and has gotten worse since. I looked back at previous stories with loud sounds and non have had a volume drop until halfway after 2019. | Posted: 13 Nov 2021 12:20 AM PST Hello, first time posting here and need some help. My mom got a new iPhone 13 pro max and I have been helping her set it up. She had an iPhone 7 Plus. I did the phone to phone wireless transfer. The 13 booted and everything appeared to work, but the old 7 Plus got stuck on the transferring screen saying 2 minutes left. I let it go a while, read others had the same issue, but eventually cancelled the transfer because everything appeared to be fine with the 13. I checked and everything is there, contacts, pictures, apps, messages, etc. However, I'm still worried that maybe I did something wrong or everything didn't finish, though like I said, idk what that would be as everything appears to be there. I read that some people just wiped the new phone and did it again, however, I'm worried that might mess up the old phone. Am I right or wrong? Would wiping the new 13 affect the 7 Plus at all being that the Apple ID is the same and signed in on both phones? Also, the old 7 Plus is now saying no service, so idk if that has any barring on any of this. I did not know the new 13s have eSims so the physical sim is disabled now. Sorry, if this is unclear, I've always used Android myself so I'm not very familiar with iPhone, just when I'm helping my parents. I can answer any more questions or provide more info that's needed. He texted me to set up a date, but I'm still kind of anxious cuz what if I decide that I don't wanna continue things? He has my number now and idk if he's the type that can take "No" for an answer, then he has a "personal" way of reaching me and can even find my address from that info. I was thinking of making a separate Google voice number and telling him that I changed my number, but since we've already texted a bit using iMessage, would he be able to tell that I'm bluffing? On the third screen I see apps that I deleted reappear, and apps that are downloaded and used regularly get back to the installing and 'paused' status, or are just greyed out and can't be clicked at all. Current version: 14.8.1 When I click on an app for longer and try to delete the app I get the option to cancel the download, and then all is fine again. I currently only have mobile data and can't run the latest update and don't want to run a backup, in case I copy this error, whatever it is. Any idea? [link] [comments] | ||

| Touch screen isn't working for Iphone X. Posted: 12 Nov 2021 02:46 PM PST I got a new Iphone X over a month ago and it's worked perfectly since. Fast forward to today and it's been working disastrously. It started this morning. I'd been casually strolling through Instagram when I noticed it stopped scrolling after a few seconds. Thought it was a bug with the app and simply turned it off for a sec then turned it back on to go on Reddit and after a few seconds of scrolling, the same thing happened. I now began to get suspicious and verified my worries when I went onto my homescreen and started swiping left and right until eventually that stopped working, too. My phone hadn't touched a drop of water(or at least, not in weeks) so I couldn't chalk it up to that. What I found even stranger was that all the other features worked. My power button would still turn off the device while silent mode still activated and vice versa, so I knew it wasn't a complete freeze. I held the power button and volume button simultaneously and the power off screen appeared, but the touchscreen wouldn't let me slide. I noticed that the version 15.1 update was available and hoped that would resolve my issue, so I left it to update for some time until I popped back into my phone and got stuck at the "hello" screen. I looked up a few answers I could get through my laptop and found out I could force restart my device. Tried it a few times, and it worked wonders......in short intervals. My phone went back to just glitching out and not reacting until I forced restarted again and that same sequence proceeded for the rest of the day, which brings me to now. My phone froze up again and this time, it wouldn't even respond after a force restart. Can I get any answers on how to fix it? TL;DR: Iphone X touchscreen stopped working. I was watching a youtube video when I got a call from a number i do not recognize, +1 (800) 833-5574. My video paused bc of the call of course but I opted not to answer it, let it ring, and resumed watching my video. Then my video paused again and I heard siri's voice in my airpod simply say "Answer it." Whoever was calling stopped soon after. | Posted: 12 Nov 2021 10:16 AM PST My Iphone 11 only charged to 59% overnight (it stopped charging at that point, as if the cord was taken out of the phone) and had been stuck at 59% from 5 AM to 12 PM today. I shut the phone off to see if it would solve the problem, but the % jumped up to 69% and got stuck there, now with the % only changing if the phone is shut off. The display is stuck on one % it seems and isnt visibly changing while my phone is on and active. Is this a battery issue? IOS? I can't find the option to turn off the % display, i've tried. I would like to make eSIM card from one of them, but I don't know which to chose. I spend 3/4 of my time in Germany, so I would use rather the german SIM card as a mobile network provider, however I receive more calls on my hungarian SIM card.
