Posted: 28 Nov 2021 11:14 PM PST I've had Wi-Fi problems on my iPhone XS where it would disconnect randomly since I bought it about 2 years ago. Also since it was my first phone without a headphone Jack, I bought Sony 1000x Bluetooth headphones . But ever since then I've though it sounded just horrible, even tho it was praised by reviewers as the best headphones to buy. Then just now it hit me could there be something weird going on with Bluetooth and wifi not liking being in the same frequency at the same time (Bluetooth use 2.4ghz, older Wi-Fi networks too). I switched to the 5GHz Wi-Fi net and Bluetooth audio quality improved DRAMATICALLY! Also so far no drop outs on Wi-Fi, may be a little early to tell but like it was before it stopped working up to as frequent as every 2 minutes. Just thought I had to share this in case anyone else is experiencing Wi-Fi drop outs and/or are terrible disappointed in Bluetooth audio quality on their headphones. [link] [comments] | ||
