| iphone 12 pro max battery question Posted: 29 Nov 2021 09:17 PM PST hello, iphone 12 pro max user with questions regarding battery. for the past 2-3 months i've noticed that my battery has become significantly worse; i'm talking about ~50% drainage after just 1.5-2 hrs of screen on time. battery capacity is still 89%, 5g is disabled, i don't use max brightness all day (in fact i've been on night shifts so using low brightness, and it hasn't made a difference) and the drain doesn't change regardless of usage (texting/video/games don't seem to change this). has anyone had this happen or is this just normal for the phone? or any ideas on what could be causing the drain? thanks in advance [link] [comments] |

Posted: 29 Nov 2021 08:11 PM PST I have 2.5G in documents and data, yet I've remove almost all the apps from my phone. I'm an app dev and I'm concerned that all my apps could have left over stuff in there. 2.5G is actually huge because it's a 16G device and I only get 9G after the OS is loaded. Is there some way to flush things out or view what's in there without having to wipe out the whole phone? BTW, how do you wipe out the whole thing so you can reclaim all the dead space?
