    Could use some help I've been searching for hours. Basically I don't use iCloud, I copy my voice memos over manually. But this time I can not see the voice memos on my phone when in iTunes.

    I figured it was an issue with iTunes, so tried iMazing and iExplorer as well. Still can't see them.

    Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Safari storage acting strange

    Hello everyone. I'm posting this question because I've been experiencing this issue for about a year now and haven't found any helpful information about it. Since updating my iPhone to iOS 14 the measurement for safari history under iPhone storage has been acting unexpectedly.Safari history either stays the same or increases. For example it starts at 131 then 139 then 143 etc and it would only increase not decrease. It seems to increase when I clear the browsing data without actually opening safari or searching something. What I don't understand is why would the history measurement increase after clearing the history if I haven't searched anything on the browser. I would figure that by 14.8.1 the issue would be gone but it still happens. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a bug or some virus, and if so how do I fix it? For the record my device is up to date and not jailbroken. I would appreciate any advice since it's annoying to not know what is being stored to make it increase when I haven't used safari in a while.

    How do I hide video player from Lock Screen?

    I just want a battery replacement but the back of my phone is shattered pretty badly. However it's not affecting the performance of the phone at all.

    I'm just curious if anyone knows if they'll force me to get the back repaired before replacing the battery. Their price for back glass replacement is insane ($800AUD ish).

    Can’t transfer voice memos from iPhone to iTunes anymore since iOS 15?

    For years I've transferred my voice memos from my iPhone to my computer (a windows pc) by syncing in iTunes. Since the iOS 15 update I can no longer do this.

    Does anyone have a solve for this? I do not use iCloud.

    Apple Lighting Cable Headphones

    Let's begin with the fact that I have an iPhone 8 and the original headphones died a week ago randomly while I was at school. I had put the headphones in my pocket and then at the end of the day when I took it out both of the headphones were not working. I did not really care about the headphones dying because they were 2-3 years old so it was bound to happen. So I ask my sister who still has the lightning headphones that came with her iPhone 11, can I get them. She hardly uses the headphones because she mostly use her EarPods. They were working perfectly for about five days. Then the same thing happened that happened last week with the other headphones . I put the headphones in my pocket and then took them out to watch a video. However unlike the previous time we're both ears did not have sound this time only the right side did not have sound. So is it my iPhone port that is destroying the headphones or something in my pockets ( I put my headphones and phone in the same pocket together and they are separated from anything else in my pocket). Could this be because of the weather or just a string of bad luck.

    How to remove a an apple id completely from an iphone 11?

    Hi all!

    My dad (88 years old) was given an Iphone 11 as a goodbye present from a friend. He has an apple id created (and linked to the phone), and was able to get in and use it...for a while.

    As his son (and default tech support) it looks like a different number was set up as the recovery number for his apple id - a number nobody knows - preventing me from resetting his apple id password (sending to his email) and getting in that way.

    Tried factory resetting the phone, but that did not remove the 'ownership' his apple id has over the phone.

    I was going to take it in to an apple store and ask them to sort it out, but I've been told they will refuse to help unless you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt you own it (prevent stolen phones getting around I in guess) - and since my dad was given it (and even worse, second hand) there's no paper trail buying direct from apple - so I figure they won't help.

    What should I do? He's asking me to fix it for him, but I'm out of ideas. I was going to create a new apple id for him (where I knew the pwd) but until I can get the old one off, I'm stuck.. am considering just buying him another phone but it won't be as good as the iphone 11...

    There is more detail in the iPhone picture, but despite that, it looks absolutely terrible. The Samsung picture has a background blue on that doesn't work at all on the iPhone, but honestly I'm not surprised at all, not much has worked on this thing since I got it

    I upgraded from a Note 9.

    I love the extra privacy features, the buttery smooth screen, the raw speed of the thing, the design, and all that. There have been a few bugs along the way, but I'm on 15.1 now and they seem mostly ironed out. Not being able to use a non-Apple charger is the worst hardware bug so far.

    But the main reason I upgraded was for a better camera. I have been carrying around my old Note 9 and taking the same pictures on both phones, so that I could see the improvement, and honestly, my almost 4 year old samsung with it's shitty outdated software and low-spec cameras blow the 13 Pro clean out of the water in every way. Low light, day time, motion, night mode(which the Note 9 never even got properly). In absolutely every single way the Note 9 takes better photos than the 13 Pro, and it's not even close. It struggles with stability, to the point where I have to use a tripod for even a basic selfie, which kind of negates the purpose of a camera that I always have with me.

    I just took a shot of my lounge in the early morning dawn light with the TV on, no other light source, and on the 13 Pro, I just get a nearly black room with a completely blown out TV in the middle. On the Note 9 I get clear details of the floor, a crisp edge on the light source, clear images of the furniture etc. On the TV you can clearly make out text and images, whereas with the iPhone it is just a square of light that bleeds out over everything.

    Am I taking crazy pills? Is there a "Good camera" setting I have turned off? I am also doing comparisons with my Work Phone, an iPhone 8, and that camera is lightyears ahead of the 13 Pro camera too. This is the worst camera experience I have every had in a phone, and that includes things like my S4, My old Nokia 6288, Nokia N95, 3650 etc. Those cameras obviously produced worse pictures, but in their time they were better than their predecessors, and were at least easy to use and to get decent snaps on.

    What do I do here? Should I just start carrying a camera around with me and trade this phone for a iPhone SE or something?

    I have already taken it to the apple store and they told me the OIS thing is working fine.

    I've tried Halide and the results are a little better but still pretty mediocre.

    Sim card issues on iPhone 13 Pro?

    My sim card (physical) keeps disconnecting intermittently. I don't know what's causing it. I have also tried to remove the sim and put it back but the issue is still occurring from time to time.

    The error is "No sim card installed"

    Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

    Iphone/icloud backup assistance

    Hi all - I am having ridiculous phone issues and I've tried everything, but nothing seems to be fixing the issues whatsoever, so I'm thinking about doing a clean swipe or factory refresh and then restoring from a back-up. I also have an enormous amount of photos in iCloud photos, but I can't seem to find definitive information re: will those photos delete if/when I factory restore my phone? Furthermore, I"m trying to figure out a way to download/export the photos from the icloud library itself, but it is legitimately massive, so I'm anxious to export to my laptop. Is it possible to plug in an external hard-drive and export directly to it? My other issue is that apparently icloud photo downloading is limited to 500 or 999 photos at a. time - my library is just under 90K, so it'd be pretty untenable to sit and go through in such a miniscule interval. I also have a 13g icloud backup from mid-June, so I'm hoping that that'll also contain the bulk of my photos and data, but I'm also convinced this phone is now unusable, so I'm hoping that that back-up file isn't corrupted.

    My phone 1) won't connect to icloud 2) won't load any apps at all 3) won't receive/send texts 4) won't allow for phone calls .... aka it's obsolete and I need to wipe and/or fix it to get on with my life - work wise and personally.

    I guess that's all. It's been a frustrating few days. Thanks for any assistance - I've been so anxious and tense and I'm really looking to solve this.

    I have an iPhone 12 mini, it's in great shape with the exception being the flash on the back of it got melted (I was being irresponsible with some thermite). It still works fine, it's just no longer waterproof, and the only part of it somehow that was hurt was the clear little window of the flash. Does anyone know what an Apple store (USA) would charge to fix this? Thank you all very much

    I just switched to an iphone SE after having an android my entire life (my last Android lasted 7 years and only broke because my husband bit it). My SE is running iOS 15.1 and I bought it through Verizon last week. A few things have been driving me crazy, like how I can't put app icons wherever I want them. But the thing that is driving me InSaNe is the lock screen notifications disappearing after I've unlocked my phone. I know they go to the notification center, but I don't want to have to remember to go there for important notifications. How do I make notifications stay on the lock screen after I've unlocked my phone?

    Woke up this morning, iPhone 8 dead

    I woke up this morning to find my iPhone 8 dead, not responding to any inputs. when I try to charge it, nothing happens. when I use apple cable, nothing happens. The haptic feedback is not present and it does not appear on my window computer when I plug it in with a 3rd party cable (It always appears as a separate drive in file explorer). it was at a decent battery percentage last night and the overall battery capacity was at 85%. It is running iOS 15, but not the latest version. I had been delaying the update because I am too lazy to do it. I have have had it running on low power mode for the past month and it has been plugged in a lot of the time since I am in lockdown. Does anyone know how to make it turn on again?

    Trying to transfer music from my android to my iphone, but having issues

    I am having issues trying to transfer music from my android to my new iphone. Couple methods I have tried.

    1. tried to transfer my music to my computer. I am able to upload to itunes, but when I try to sync it to my phone even tho I clicked sync nothing happens. Not sure what the problem is.
    2. I uploaded my music files onto cloud storage. I am able to download it to my phone, but it only appears in the file app not apples music player. That means if I want to listen to my music I have to scroll through file app. any way to get around this?

    Location Services icon always on screen

    I started playing Pikmin Bloom on my iPhone XR today and I noticed the icon on the top left. I know that Pikmin Bloom has been set to always but when I disable it the arrow disappears. I looked in settings and system services has it always on but the symbol isn't there at all. Is there any way I can get rid of it?

    Help!! Work VPN on iOS, Access Files from Email by clicking link?

    So... is this doable?

    We have an iphone with our work VPN, connection to file server SUCCESS! We can access the files on the server... but the user wants to be able to click on the link in an email (either native iOS mail or Outlook mobile) and the link would open the file...

    This is not working with native files app OR FE File Explorer Pro.

    Anyone know how to achieve?
