Turning this off on my Series 7 seems to make significant difference... Like lasting 30% longer. If you don't need it, make sure it's off! (Settings -> Noise) [link] [comments] | ||

The watch and I was in complete darkness, I try to read the time, but the screen was dark. i push the crown, the button, touch the screen, nothing, I repeat numerous time, and then the voice over kik in, but the screen was completly black, no light. So I have to turn on the light to see what happen to my watch (I receive it yesterday) the voice over was on, take me a fait amount of time to figure out to turn it off, and it was very anoying. anyway, why the screen was black ? | Apple Watch use with only sporadic connection to IPhone Posted: 26 Nov 2021 05:34 AM PST Hey guys, I was wondering how well the Apple Watch works without constantly connected to an IPhone, since I'm currently (and for the foreseeable future) using a dumb phone, but want something to listen to Music while on the Train and to track my workouts. Also paying via Apple Pay would be nice sometimes. I have an old IPhone 7 lying around in a drawer and would pair it with that to set it up, can i run the watch while syncing it for example only once a week? Was looking to get the WiFi version of the SE Watch, my other questions are: Does Apple Pay work without IPhone with me after initial setup? And can i put pictures/QR Codes on the Watch? My app Space Impact Watch did pretty well for the first days. More than 100 daily downloads. Then it declined quickly to < 5. Which is still pretty good for a paid app I believe. Especially without any particular promotion. Wondering if there's a reason not to do it? Like maybe the smaller one on a larger watch would be more likely to break over time? | [Support] Big Battery Drain - S4 on OS8.1 w/ 84% Battery Life Posted: 26 Nov 2021 08:38 AM PST Not sure what's going on. It could just be WatchOS related. I used to be able to get a full weekend without having to put watch on charger. When I upgraded to OS 8.0 upon release, I noticed I could no longer do that. I've also noticed that battery appears to drain quicker than it used to. I'll get close to 20~30% for a days useage when I used to creep around 50ish%. Took note of percentages during an hour couple weeks back and it had dropped 4%. Charged watch last night and in the 12hrs I was sleeping, battery went from 9x% to 20%. This isn't the 1st time a big drop has happened. It happened one other time while on OS 8.0 or 8.1. I don't believe I've installed any new apps or changed any settings. Current installed app list is (aside from the standard apple apps): Banking App, Cardiogram, Carrot, DroneMobile, ESPN, Fantastical, Google Keep, Google Maps, Heart Analyzer, LastPAss, Pandora, PCalc, Shazam. SleepMatic I restarted watch and tossed it on the charger [link] [comments] | ||
