Why do all apps have to sound the same???? Oh, and: why isn't anyone else furious about this? Every time I get a Teams notification, my head pops up to the security camera to see if someone is there. For whatever reason, I don't get Insta DM notifications (banner and lockscreen both) when the app is open in the background. | Getting TouchID back for notes instead of entering the password Posted: 17 Nov 2021 07:43 AM PST I have a 7 plus for which I have TouchID enabled on some of my notes . I guess my thumb was sweaty &/or oily and it didn't recognize my fingerprint, I tried 2-3 times and now its asking me for my notes password which I created like 5 years ago, so there's no way I'm remembering what it is. My question is, is there anyway I can get it to ask for my TouchID again? should I wait for a day or two and see if its back to asking for my fingerprint or will it keep asking for me for the password? I already tried switching it off and on again, didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. The irony is I probably have the notes password in a locked note lol [link] [comments] | ||

The phone is fine hardware-wise, however I believe there is a problem in the software because the touch actually registers slightly higher up (relative to the screen orientation, probably 10-20 pixels). I saw a stack exchange post regarding similar problem. I have tried the "erase all content and settings" option from the settings and upgrading from 14.8 to 14.8.1 without any luck. Everyday Amazon delivers dozens of packages that are laid on the floor helter skelter under our mailboxes. I have to read the addresses of every package (tiny font) in order to find mine. I am a big fan of AirDrop and being able to quickly send files and links back and forth between my iPhone and iPad. Meanwhile, it bothers me not to have an alternative available for my laptop. It's not uncommon for me to send files and documents back and forth between my iPad and my laptop, and so far I've been using my own mail (so I just send myself an email and then open it on the other device). I have already tried all the app options that promise easy transfer between iOs and Windows and have always been disappointed so far. I know that apple devices and software tends to favour other Apple products like how Shazam only shows results in Apple Music. Are there benefits of using Apple'a photos app over google photos? I am considering staying with google photos only because I have more storage than iCloud's 5 GB ( of course I can also move to a paid tier, but I get more for free with Google right now with various promotions I previously benefited from). Also, I really like the way my chrome cast shows my photos on the TV, if I want the same with Apple's ecosystem, I need to go buy an Apple TV, which is possible, but it is just another thing I need to buy.
