    Recently one of my contacts doesnt receive my iMessages. Instead of the normal blue bubble, it sends as a green one for SMS texts. Ive checked my internet connection, its fine. Ive sent messages to other friends who have an iphone/imessage, thats fine. Is this an issue on my end or theirs?

    Hi everyone! Lately my phone has been super laggy for no apparent reason and I believe it’s because of this particular app keeps reinstalling itself after I’ve uninstalled it several time.

    Connecting iMac late 2012 27inch (Catalina) as external monitor with MacBook Air 2017 running Big Sur

    As title suggests, I'm trying to do research on how I can use my iMac late 2012 running Catalina with my main computer which is MacBook Air 2017 running Big Sur.

    Although according to official Apple website it's not possible with Big Sur I've found some Youtube videos where they make it work using different cables. But I found that most of the cases were using iMac 2010 or earlier where they have Mini Display port.

    The iMac 2012 2inch has Thunderbolt, USB and Ethernet ports and my MacBook Air has USB and Thunderbolt port.

    I've found some cases where people using Luna display too. But again, not sure what cables I ultimately need.

    Do I need

    • just Thunderbolt
    • Ethernet to Thunderbolt ?

    I just got a pop up when opening the settings on my iPhone asking me to agree to new terms and conditions to continue using iCloud. However, when I click on it, I can't open the actual terms and conditions on my phone. Is there a way to consult it online somewhere?

    Cant sign into my apple music via different apple id

    Hello! I have trouble signing into my apple music with an different id. When im in the app, I can only buy an subscription although I already have one on the other account. On mac, I dont have this problem. Thanks for help yall!

    I submitted an online order yesterday morning, but still have yet to received the gift card. Both the gift card and the iPad that I ordered are still in the "Order Placed" phase. I need the gift card to buy a few other stuffs as well. Is there a chance that my order won't be processed until the deal is over and I may miss out on the gift cards that come with the other stuffs?

    I am ordering an iPad Pro 11' 128gb, which may have been part of the issue, as I believe it's one of the most sought after items. There's no store around me has it in stock, and the delivery date isn't until some time around Christmas

    iMac A1224 - Screen flashes after boot then nothing

    Hello

    I really have no idea about Macs at all, I just had this one by chance just to check if I could do something and it has the following issue:

    After pressing power the startup sound can be heard and then the screen does a kind of white flash and that's it, black screen after that, the computer is still on, but nothing shows up on screen.

    I was told that this just started happening at random

    Also I have neither an apple keyboard nor more, I'm using a generic one with Windows keys.

    I have a 12 that is up to date. If I google something in safari, how can I click on that address and automatically send it to apple maps for directions instead of the google maps/directions as part of google.

    Does changing screen time password send an email to your Apple ID account?

    I'm 19 years old. My parents set up my iCloud account using my moms email, and recently, my pictures have started going to her phone. I'm sure you can see why this would make me uncomfortable. I am an adult, and I have private things that I don't want my parents to see. I cannot make changes to my iCloud account due to the screen time restrictions they have. I just wanted to know if I can use the "forgot password" feature, or if it would send a confirmation email to my mom. Thank you!

    AppleCare Used old owners name

    I have just been in live chat with apple after my airpods pro started experiencing issues. to cut a long story short i have to send them in as it is a widespread issue and it was quoted a free replacement.I bought these airpods used about a two years ago and when the email came through saying they got accepted my request it wasn't my name on the email but someone else's, i'm guessing the original owner. i used my iCloud account to contact them and i was just wondering why this was.

    Iphone SE 2nd generation won't turn on

    I've bought an Iphone SE 2nd back in March 2020. Yesterday night I plugged it in as always before going to sleep. But this time I put it on the floor; which was pretty cold. This morning the phone won't turn back on. I tried different cable in different room but still nothing. I've followed the protocol from the apple support but still nothing...

    Sold MacBook, formatted disk and made factory reset. Am I safe?

    I sold my MacBook yesterday, formatted the disk and made a factory reset. I also logged off from iCloud.

    After the customer started the laptop, it asked for the disk password (which is weird because I made the factory reset). I gave him my past password and it worked.

    My question is: even if I formatted the disk and made the factory reset, does he have the chance to use the backup machine and get access to my previous files?

    Is Facebook Messenger broken in Safari (macOS) for anyone else?

    It's looked like this for me for several weeks, where the messages themselves don't show up. I've tried logging out/back in, clearing cache, disabling all extensions, and using private browsing. Just trying to figure out if it's an incompatibility with Safari in general, or something specific to me.

    I am in the US right now. I have purchased a MacBook Air during my trip and wanted to buy Apple care too.
    Will the Apple care purchased in the US be applicable in India ? Will I be able to service my Mac after coming back to India ?

    Or is it region locked to only the US ?
