    For those who still see iOS 14.8 in Software Update in Settings, this seems to be intended.

    One user in russian community told me that he checked how it asks for signing of iOS 14.8 and it's different from 15.0.1. It does that with prefix "AlternateSU" similiar to delayed OTA ("Managed").

    Here are the screenshots. First is iOS 14.8 and second is 15.

    It may be that Apple implemented "Extended" iOS 14.8 Support in such way, only for devices which stayed on lower firmwares, not the updated ones.

    Interestingly, it also checks for SEP firmware, the user couldn't install 14.8 because he restored to 14.7.1 with latest sep from 15. Again, this is similiar to delayed OTA.

    I myself can't see this on 14.3, it only shows 15.0.1, I suspect that this is because the choice between firmwares was added only in 14.5/14.6, I remember something along those lines before.

    Since @rJailbreakBot's /sepbb command has been broken for a few months, I decided to make a new bot for it.

    You can message @sepfinderbot on Telegram (https://t.me/sepfinderbot) and it will help you find the correct SEP and Baseband files to use for futurerestore. Simply press the "Start" button or send the /start command and it will guide you through device and version selection.

    Most of the time, --latest-sep and --latest-baseband works fine and this is not needed. But this is currently relevant because iOS 15 SEP is partially incompatible with 14.x on iPhone X and possibly newer devices (it breaks Face ID until you restore again with a compatible SEP). Therefore it's recommended to use 14.8 SEP instead for those devices.

    [Question] Increase iOS 14 Lock screen Duration / Timeout?

    Does anyone know a tweak that can increase the duration / timeout of the lock screen. Otherwise is there a way or a command I can do to chance this time.

    I can only find really old tweaks and they don't work on iOS 14. Old posts from 5 years ago etc.

    Reason being is I have a video as my Lock Screen wallpaper and would like for my Lock Screen to remain on for longer than 30 seconds.

    Have tried going to Settings > Display & Brightness and changing Auto-Lock from Never to 5 Minutes (and vice versa) but that doesn't seem to apply to the Lock Screen.

    [Question] Did anybody on 14.8 and A9X manage to get JB?

    Hello,

    I'm on ipad pro 2016 and i cannot manage to get jailbreak to work.

    Checkra1n goes through to the end but after that nothing happens, i tried everything(getting the icons to appear through various methods but nothing shows)

    SSH does not work which make me believe Jailbroke is not actually deployed.

    Anyone managed to get this setup working?

    Any ideas?

    LE: I tried everything to get the icons to appear but it doesn't work, the binaries are not there.

    [Help] Weather app not showing saved locations while jailbroken

    I've been jailbroken for a bit over half a year now and I never had this problem. When I open weather all of my locations are gone. Only my current location is there and then the main location. If I try to add the other locations and close the app, they disappear again. I tried it while not in a jailbroken state and all the locations where there I didn't even need to add them.     [Question] Jailbreak tweak that stops 'ghost touching' or locks the screen when not touching it.

    Is there a tweak for iPad that stops ghost touching? I have recently replaced my iPad Air's screen on IOS 10 and the cheap digitiser is registering ghost touches. I'm not interested replacing the digitiser again beacause of the effort that it took.

    I had to RootFS my iPhone SE running iOS 13.4 using Unc0ver 6.1.1 after running into the dpkg issue of Appstore++, and although I was able to get most of my tweaks back, I cannot find [Bolts] anymore. It's a status bar notification tweak that I absolutely love since Opennotifier doesn't work on 13.4 anymore (or at least I haven't been able to get it to work). It used to be hosted on Antique's Cydia Repo but it's not there anymore and there is no way to get in contact with the Dev. I've looked all over for this tweak without any luck. I'm wondering if anyone has a copy of it that they can share or know another repo where it might be hosted or if there is a similar tweak that'll give me app notification icons in the status bar. Thanks in advance!

    [Question] Tweak for no Siri requirement for CarPlay?

    I'm not a fan of allowing devices have access to your microphone. I don't have Siri enabled, but was wondering if anyone knows of a tweak that can bypass that requirement? Maybe I need to request a tweak if it doesn't exists, but please let me know.

    [Question] Alternative for Choicy?

    Hi all, does anyone have any good alternatives for choicy? I've looked around on Reddit and seem some people suggesting A-Bypass and JailProtect but those haven't been working for me. I play clash of clans and with the new update is crashes on launch. I got choicy which fixed the issue, but for whatever reason when choicy is installed, it makes another alarm tweak of mine called Sleeper (which I use all the time) not working anymore. I already double checked to make sure choicy isn't set to disable alarm tweaks, so I guess the two tweaks are just incompatible? So if anyone has any alternatives to choicy I'd appreciate it. Thanks

    [Help] Cydia network error on iPhone SE 14.7.1

    I managed to jailbreak successfully using checkra1n, but i get this error message on Cydia all the time. I've already tried reseting my network settings and performing the jailbreak again, but I get the same error.

    Unable to Load (The operation couldn't be completed.Invalid Argument).

    I have another device jailbreaked that can use Cydia normally, so it's probably nothing related to my connection.

    Does anyone know how to fix it?
