    Im new to Apple TV, bought the new model less than a week ago and I've been loving it, it's so fast and beautiful, way better than my fire tv.

    The problem tho, it's when I tried playing a game having my ps5 controller and AirPods connected to the Apple TV, it starts good but after a minute it starts lagging, the audio disconnects and reconnects, but even worse the controller does as well at the same time.

    Im not sure if this is due to a bug in the new os, interference or my unit is defected.

    Any help would be appreciated :)

    My “Up Next” section isn’t working correctly

    I was watching a movie on my Mac a few hours ago and that's on there, but when I watch any episodes or movies (that I have purchased through iTunes) on the actual Apple TV they won't update in the Up Next list. I also have to delete things from the Up Next list multiple times before they actually delete. I restarted the app, and the device. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    So…first Fox Sports Thursday NFL game and STILL no HDR!

    2nd Gen AppleTV4K was supposed to work with HLG HDR, wasn't it? The keynote when it was released said they were "working with" content providers like Fox Sports on providing this content.

    Yet, here we are, and my $50 Firestick can do HDR on the NFL game tonight and my $200 AppleTV4K can't. Seems a bit ridiculous doesn't it?

    Crazy question …  TV Siri remote and Siri voice with HomePod Minis don’t seem to work together. What am I doing wrong? This can’t be by design. For example, if you mute your  TV using voice Siri you can’t unmute using the Siri remote. You can’t mix and match. Bug maybe?

    Apple TV login question

    I chipped in for my girlfriends Apple TV+ and she logged in with her Apple ID. On my phone I can't find a way to "login" to Apple TV+ it only gives the option to buy on my account.

    Am I missing something or what can I do?

    Note: we are not able to be set up for family sharing

    LG CX and Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) - audio slowly drifts while watching YouTube, then carries over to other apps.

    Hi everyone,

    I've been dealing with this issue for months now and simply can not figure out what the problem/solution is. I've seen other threads with similar issues, but not quite what I'm experiencing. I'd like to know if anyone else knows about this.

    I work from home so I like to leave YouTube running in the background. Audio will start off perfectly in sync using the internal TV speakers, but when I look over after about 2 hours, the audio lags behind the video by about 400-500ms. It'll only get worse until I restart the Apple TV/LG CX, which temporarily fixes the audio, but then begins to drift again after about 1-2 hours. As mentioned in the title, this audio lag is also noticeable when I switch over to any other app, like Netflix, for example.

    Here's what I've tried:

    • Turned on and off both "match content" settings in the Apple TV settings. Audio still drifts after some time on both settings.

    • Switched "HDMI input audio format" from bitstream to PCM on the LG CX. I've actually noticed this temporarily syncing the audio up again when switching over to PCM, rather than restarting the Apple TV/LG CX. Same thing happened with the next thing:

    • Turning off Dolby Atmos. Audio synced up again temporarily, but then begins to drift again after some time.

    For reference, I'm using the 4K Dolby Vision format on the Apple TV because I like how the colors look in the menu/background images. If anyone else is experiencing this issue, please let me know. I'm suspecting it's either an issue with Apple's firmware, LG's firmware, or something else entirely. Is it possible that ads on YouTube cause audio to slowly drift? I really don't know anymore…

    If I used my own profile, can I sign out of apps like Netflix to use my own account, and will it mess with the other users’?

    If I were to use my own Apple ID on the Apple TV, could I sign out of Netflix without changing their user profile, or would I also be signing out for every user?

    Why is TMS playing in Spanish? I checked all the settings and they’re all set to English. This hasn’t ever happened before. Anyone else have the same issue?

    Just moved into my new house, and began setting up my Apple TV 4K (2021) with my Samsung RU800D tv. In the "Video & Audio" settings, the default selection is 1080p SDR. The highest available video setting is 2160x1440 HDR/SDR, but no 4K selections available. Any idea why?

    I'm using the HDMI Arc connection via my Samsung HW-R650 Soundbar, as I found this got rid of any audio delay I was experiencing - could this be the issue?

    Any way to stop iPhone Apple TV from switching Airplay controls?

    Not sure if anybody else has noticed this problem. I use Fubo on Apple TV and sometime use my phone to change the channel, and this changes the Airplay "control" from say my AirPods or HomePod to the Apple TV. So you change the channel, but then if you go to play a podcast or a song on your phone or AirPods, it interferes with whatever's on the Apple TV.

    To get control back to your phone or AirPods, you need to go to "Control or Other Speakers or TVs." It seems like the fix needed from Apple is a setting such as "automatically change Airplay control with opening TV remote" and the ability to toggle.

    Is there any other way to "fix" this?

    Seinfeld doesn’t look great on Apple TV.

    I have the new 4k Apple TV on a Samsung Q90 and Seinfeld video quality is really poor. My internet speed is around 25 megs. Could the speed be too low to handle 4K?
