    Focus Mode is OFF but iMessage is still telling people “notifications are silenced” Why??

    iPhone 13 pro with iOS 15.0.1 installed.

    For some reason iMessage is telling people that notifications are silenced however focus mode is off. I've tried resetting the phone, turning focus mode on and off but it's still saying notifications are silenced.

    Any idea if this is a bug or what?

    iCloud tiers are so outdated

    Now that 256 iPhones are common, and 512gb and 1tb iPhones are thing, it seems the iCloud tiers need to be revamped and are very outdated. These tiers have been around since baseline was 16gb. The baseline is now x8 more, yet iCloud has not updated yet. Are you guys having to buy the biggest tier just to back up your phone?

    The current tiers are as follows: Tier 1: 50gb ($0.99) Tier 2: 200gb ($2.99) Tier 3: 2tb ($9.99)

    As you can see there's a very big gap between tier 2 and 3 to force anyone in that range to go with tier 3. It's similar to how apple sold the 16gb iPhone 6, while selling 64gb and 128gb as the following options.

    Now that base iPhones are 128gb, the 50gb tier (which has been around since 16gb iPhones) is kind of ancient now. Even the second tier is not enough for my 256gb iPhone. It's times to align these plans with the latest product, It's time to double or triple these plan, or to also add a forth tier between tier 3 and 2.

    My suggestion is either add a 1tb plan ($5.99) in the middle to cater to bigger storage iPhones. The other option is to double storage capacity, this way the entry option caters to baseline iPhones storage capacity.

    What do you guys think?

    Safari is nice because it's default, but it's the least supported of the 3 (Chromium based, Firefox, and Safari/Webkit).

    How to fix rogue apps in the background and foreground?

    I've noticed that my battery drains tremendously fast. I looked at the Battery section and saw the following which doesn't make any sense:

    Reddit: 25 min on screen / 11 h 22 min background

    The 25 min makes sense but 11 hrs makes no sense at all.

    Instagram: 50 min on screen / 20 min background.

    The 50 min is way off. How do I disable apps from running in the background? I have Background App Refresh turned off.

    iOS 14, iPhone 12 Pro.

    Copying music from Mac to IPhone

    Hi, I'm curious to learn how you guys transfer MP3 files to your iPhone without having to "sync" music between Mac and iPhone. I would like to be able to drag and drop songs that I've personally written and downloaded. Ideally I would like to manually manage my own music from any macs. I am running MacOS Big Sur on one Mac and Catalina on another. What I have done so far is open Finder, selected my iPhone from the sidebar, selected "manually manage my music…" and hit apply. A prompt popped up and wants me to sync, saying "syncing will replace media from another library" this is exactly what I don't want. I don't like IOS's way of syncing and replacing content. Currently my iPhone is set to "Cloud Music Library" I open the Music desktop App and create a new playlist but unable to drag and drop MP3's. My current process is adding the songs into VLC player but I would prefer to use the native music app. Thank u for reading and I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys manage your MP3 files on iPhone.

    why do screenshots on my iPhone 12 take up so much of space?

    i've noticed on my 64 Gb variant iPhone 12 that screenshots take up too much space. Most of them are upwards it 10 mb. I don't wanna delete these screenshots but is there a setting or something that i can change to make it take up less space as i only have about 64 gb on my phone to begin with.

    Bluetooth audio issues on ios15

    I just recently install iOS 15 and my bluetooth earbuds' audio sounds so bad. I tried connecting on other devices and conclude that it's not from the earbuds but from my phone due to the new update. Does anyone else have the same problem?

    NFC tag process change introduced extra step when checking in at Chick-fil-a. Now one must click through an NFC notification whereas it used to be automatic via the Chick-fil-a app. Is this an iOS security change?

    Do you know about any iOS Windows RDP Client with Shortcuts app compatibility?

    I'm currently using OpenVPN + Jump Desktop to work remotely but none of them is compatible with Shortcuts. I found an OpenVPN client called Passepartout that is compatible but I don't have yet any RDP Client with Shortcuts compatibility.

    How to update Airpods firmware?

    I've looked at guides, but none have been specific - I've had the airpods connected, while in case, and opened via bluetooth to my phone and had them sit together for an hour. And the firmware has not updated.

    Is there something else I should be doing?

    Disable Volume buttons entirely?

    I recently repaired an iphone 11 pro max, on IOS 15, however I think one of the volume buttons was damaged when I bought it, Vol up works fine, but if I try and turn it down, the volume just goes all the way to zero, which is obviously annoying. I'm new to IOS so I'm wondering if there's a way in settings to completely disable volume buttons, and maybe just use the slider that shows up in the control center?

    Mail App Refresh Issue

    Is anyone else having an issue where refreshing the mail feed causes the last unread message to become marked as read? I hoard important emails and leave them as unread so I have an incentive to go back and look at them. All of my important emails have been refreshed away and I no longer have the mental bandwidth to remember what any of them were. Hopefully nothing too life-altering. Let me know if anyone has a fix for this!

    Edit: this only began after I did the latest update to fix the issue with watch unlocking

    Internet is working but still getting “Cannot connect to the App Store”

    My wifi and cellular data are working normally and I can browse the internet as well use other apps as well. The problem arises whenever I open the App Store and it gives me an error "Cannot connect to the App Store". I have to keep clicking the retry button to finally gain access to the App Store albeit the app tab or the game tab. I'm on ios 15.0.1 but this issue was also present in ios 14.7. I don't know if it's a bug or anything and would really like a suggestion.
