    Hi All,

    I am struggling to find out what is the best type c hub for my MBA M1. I have been gone through many hubs including reviews but still confused.

    I am looking for an HDMI, two or three USB ports, and One Type C port for data transfer. I would use this hub almost all day since I am working keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

    [I have seen some people have been experienced some issues with the Type C PD port, is this has been fixed by Apple?]

    I would love to see the suggestions and recommendations.

    (Help) Early 2009 MacBook hard crashes when on wall power.

    As the title suggests. My 2009 MacBook (MacBook 5,2) is hard crashing after a while when on wall power. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the issue is. I though it has a faulty SSD since I only started experiencing the issue when I upgraded to a Netac SSD, the cheapest new SSD I could get. Which Is why I thought it was that. But recently I moved that SSD to my gaming rig. In its place I put a working hard drive I had laying around. But when I tried installing El Capitan, I noticed the same issue was happening. So it's not the SSD.

    I also tried resetting the pram, but to no avail. I also say some people online mentioning faulty power supply's. But I tried multiple power supply's with the same issue. And I didn't notice this issue on a 2009 MacBook Pro 13 I had a while back. So I don't think it's the power supply either.

    I also tested it using the apple hardware test disc, and it passed. This whole thing is really making me scratch my head. So any help would be appreciated :)

    Macbook Air M1 huge Sleep Delay.

    I purchased a macbook air m1 a few months ago and ever since I've noticed that sometimes the macbook won't sleep (takes like a full minute after I press sleep). I even disabled the "set time to sleep" function but I'm still experiencing the same problem. It would sleep normally but after a few seconds it would open, I would have to press sleep again and after a minute it would sleep. Anyone having issues like that? And how to fix it?

    Will Apple honor the keyboard repair program for me?

    I bought a late 2018 MacBook Air off of marketplace. The seller stated that the keyboard didn't work and that the battery didn't hold a charge.

    Come to find out, the Mac didn't start at all. It DOES have AppleCare+, so I took it to the apple store today and they couldn't repair it since "find my Mac" was still enabled on jt. I couldn't get a hold of the lady so I took it home and I opened it up and saw that someone had tried to work on it previously. There were a handful of missing screws.

    I ended up removing the logic board and finding the issue. It seems that the person who worked on jt before left a loose screw, which ended up shorting out the board. I was able to clean it up and got the Mac to boot. I was able to wipe it and remove the find my Mac this way.

    The issue now, is that the keyboard and trackpad aren't working. I checked the ribbon cable for the trackpad and noticed corrosion. I tried cleaning it up as best as I could but I'm still not getting anything out of the kb or tp.

    My understanding is that this Mac "should" qualify for the keyboard replacement program. I wasn't able to test them, but the keys do seem way less tactile then they should normally be. Replacing the entire top case may fix my whole issue. Will the previous work void any of that?

    THUNDER BOLT TO HDMI

    so i bought a converter that is tb to hdmi for my macbook air 2013 to connect it to my monitor and it doesn't work . Afterward , i try using a Tb to Vga converter and it works . So can someone help me to understand , can this old macbook use Hdmi? . I'm curious because i saw youtube and it works for them .

    I have a 2016 MacBook Pro. It has a few sticky keys, keys that have fallen off and can't be clicked back in, and the battery blew out. What do you think?

    Glitchy video playback from flashdrive (ex-fat) after copying video (mkv) from mac

    I have videos that I want to play on my TV, the video plays fine without any issues on my macbook air m1, but when I copy the video to a flash drive, which I formatted multiple times to ex-fat, the video playback becomes glitchy.

    Video randomly skips few seconds ahead and plays now and then. The same video which was playing fine, starts skipping on TV, Windows PC and even on the same macbook (even in VLC).

    I am now clueless on why this happens, the same video that plays fine on macbook starts skipping on same macbook when copied and run from flashdrive.

    I did try on 2 separate flashdrives, different manufacturer of course. Have anyone faced this? if yes, is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

    How do you clean or fix "sticky" keys on Macbook Air 2021?

    So a little bit of beer spilled on some of my keys on my macbook air, and now the keys are sticky :(

    I tried cleaning the keys (from the outside) with alcohol and cotton swabs and compressed air, but it didn't really work, and the sticky-ness still persists.

    Does anyone know how to make the keys become more "springy" or normal again? Maybe Apple offers a service for this? Any help on this would be super appreciated.

    iPhone 12 Pro doesn't see Macbook for airdrop

    I am trying to airdrop pictures from my iPhone to my Macbook, but when I try to share, my phone doesn't see my computer. I go to finder and open up airdrop, and my computer sees my phone which is weird.

    Ive had this issue for a few months now, can anyone give me any suggestions? I've already done the turn wifi on/off, bluetooth on/off, restart both computer and phone and checked that both my phone and computer have "allow me to be discovered by everyone"

    M1 MacBook + Sony digital camera streaming setup question

    Hi, I have a latest gen M1 MacBook, and am looking to use my Sony NEX5-T (HDMI mini connector) camera for improving my video conferencing quality.

    If I understand correctly I will use HDMI-mini to HDMI cable plugged into an Elgato capture device. I assume The Elgato would need a USB to USB-C adapter?

    A secondary concern is also whether this will work plugged into my LG5K (apple version) instead of using a port on the MacBook itself.

    Any help / experiences with this would Be a huge help! Thanks.

    Looking for a laptop to study computer science

    Planning to buy it on black Friday, I want it to last 5 years, actually I consider an M1 macbook air, cuz I gonna have an iphone and an ipad (You know, integration xd), and also cuz is an excellent option of course, but there are many great options with dedicated GPU (yeah I know, it's not too necessary in my case, but I consider fine to get as many as possible for my money) so guys I hope you to help me. In the case of the MacBook air, how much Ram should I get? Yeah I know with the m1 chips work different, but idk.

    Face ID on Mac

    I think it would be cool to see face id on MacBook or iMac, idk if I prefer it rather that touch Id (I consider both of them nice). The best scenario would be having both of them, but let's be honest, it's apple, that will never happen, otherwise we would have it in other products. Anyway, which you prefer?

    MBA M1 keyboard is better than the 2019 16 inch MBP?

    Is it me or the MBA M1 keyboard is better than the 2019 16 inch MBP? From what i have researched they are both the same keyboard that uses scissor switches but i cant help buy feel that the MBA one is better.

    MacBook Air 2020 Black Screen

    I was just watching Netflix and my MacBook was running fine but then the screen went black and it won't go back to normal.

    The screen still responds when I press the brightness adjust buttons and it makes the power up sign whenever I restart it but the screen doesn't ever display anything.

    Any tips or suggestions?

    Wireless set (keyboard and mouse) is laggy on MBA

    Hi guys, I'm having an issue with Logitech set MK470 which connects via 2,4 ghz adapter to the USB. The mouse is laggy, doesn't scroll that good and the keyboard has an input delay. Adapter is plugged in via usb hub. Does anyone have issues with wireless sets? Do I have to buy something specially made for macOS?

    Can’t reset my MacBook password

    I got an M1 MacBook running big sur and I find my password is suddenly not working (I didn't forget it, it's just not working). And I'm trying to reset it, but the little question mark that is supposed to pop up is not there. Anyone have any idea how I could reset my password?

    Battery health issue

    After only 14 cycles, my MBA m1's battery health is 99% (according to Apple's system information) and 92.4% (according to coconutBattery). Should I be worried? Shall I contact Apple?
