Side by side, with both phones having the brightness all the way up, the screen on the 8 clearly looks better. The 13 is dull. I'm really sad. I was so excited to upgrade after so many generations but now I'm starting to regret dropping 1k on a phone that looks worse than a 4 year old phone. I don't know what to do. Not only do the colors look dull, there's also an orange tint, which I've adjusted with settings and that helped with making it less orange, however, it also made the dullness worse. I'm so disappointed. And like I said, when both have the brightness ALL the way up the 8 is actually brighter. Did I get a broken phone or? She had given her mother her passcode to her iPhone and she currently has access. She only knows the iPhone passcode, doesn't know iCloud or any other logins. I'd like to back up, or copy her photo library somewhere so her parents can access whenever they want, and to ensure the photos are preserved if the phone dies or they get locked out somehow. I'm wondering what the safest way to do this is? Safest as in, I can't risk being locked out of the phone or photo library. Ideally I'd like to copy to a hard disk, or copy to my own iCloud library? Happy overall but have issues with group SMS text messages that transferred using the Move to iOS app on Android. Ideally I'd like to keep my old SMS group chats intact, and do not want to start new groups.

| How do you edit the video made from a Memory in iOS 15? Posted: 09 Oct 2021 02:31 AM PDT In previous versions of iOS you were able to edit which part of a video was included in the memories, whether they were custom made or made automatically by Apple. Since upgrading to iOS 15 I cannot find how to do that. You can select which photos/videos from an album to include but there is no way to change the length or part of the video that was automatically. Essentially what I am wondering is if I take photos with the default settings on the iPhone 13 and then send that to a friend by whatever means and they view it on a device without HDR does it look worse then if I had just turned off HDR completely? | Is this DND behavior still possible in iOS 15? Posted: 08 Oct 2021 05:37 PM PDT My wife is missing how Do Not Disturb used to work in iOS 14 now that she has upgraded to iOS 15. She wants to turn on DND, but also be able to tap her screen awake to see ALL notifications that have come in since DND was turned on without having to scroll and click on the "here's what came in while you were away" notification group. In iOS 15 with DND Focus, I think we would have to manually add ALL her apps to the list of allowed apps, which seems like overkill. Are we missing how to do this easily? [link] [comments]  |
