    Hi,

    I am coming for an older Android phone (One Plus 6T) and I feel it took way better pictures than my new 13mini (I was using custom Google Camera)

    It makes no sense.

    I think it's mostly due to the processing, and the fact we have no control over "Smart" HDR settings in the new iOS.

    Why is no one talking about this?

    I was expecting to be able to take awesome pictures and I'm fairly disappointed at the moment. If I'm not in studio quality lighting, it's very grainy and pixelated.

    Should I use a third party camera ? Any recommendations ?

    iOS and Bring your own Device for work

    My organization is offering us to bring our own devices to use in dual-sim setup for work if we want.

    (I already know about the moral separation of work/personal life, so I'm not looking for help with that).

    Has anyone here setup their iPhone in a BYOD setup with theier work?

    I understand that you have a "work" folder with work apps in it, and that work cannot see your personal stuff but can anyone explain how it works? I can't seem to find any videos detailing how it works.

    Some questions I have are - can you silence or prevent "work" stuff after hours? ie, restrict the phone from ringing etc?

    Will I be able to perform iOS updates whenever I want? Will I be able to run the Beta iOS updates when they come out next year? Or does the BYOD policy of my workplace supercede my own control of my device?

    Any suggestions or explanations would be really helpful!

    Hey guys.

    Has anyone been having problems with Bluetooth in latest ios? Normally, whenever I'd start my car or open the case to my galaxy buds, they will automatically connect to my phone Bluetooth. As of now, nothing automatically connects and I manually have to go to settings and choose to connect. This is extremely frustrating. I created a siri shortcut just to set playback device to make it a little faster but jeez, this should not be happening on such an expensive device. Iphone's are supposed to "just work" lol.

    Photo’s “People Albums” has seen better days (and better faces)

    Since I've updated to iOS 15, I've noticed that Apple's AI for the Photo's "People Albums" has recently been shuffling random pictures into the numerous face albums I already have. Pictures of the sky, screenshots of text, and even videos I downloaded from TikTok are being mixed into them. Could this have to do with the new programs Apple has implemented into the software that require intensive AI training, like Live Text?

    Hard press for cursor drag

    Normally I am able to hold down on the keyboard and drag the cursor anywhere. Since switching to the iPhone 13, it will only allow me to hold on the actual text for the magnifying glass, which I do not want.

    iOS shows the wrong battery percentage

    Hey guys,

    I've read that there are no battery health posts allowed, but this isn't really about battery health, it's more about the percentage showing (I guess an iOS issue). I've got 83% battery health. The problem is, that my phone always drops to 1% really fast and then stays hours at 1% battery life. E.g. It goes from 100%-30% in 3h, 30% to 20% in 5 minutes and from 20% to 1% in another 5 minutes. Then it's working like 5-6 hours until it's really empty. I've tried to "recalibrate" the shown percentage (letting the phone die, charging it up to 100%, then force shutdown it). It seemed to make it a little bit better, but after like a week it got terrible again. The main problem is, that it's really hard to estimate my real battery life, Im always low, I always think I should charge my phone before leaving the house, but in fact the shown percentage is just wrong. Is there anything I can do about this? Maybe other calibrating methods?

    Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, I thought it's an iOS and not an hardware problem, but I'm not entirely sure.

    Issue With Transfering Apps From Android To iOS

    I just got the new iphone 13 Pro Max and I'm switching over from Android to iOS. I used "Move to iOS" app to transfer all my stuff over. Maybe I accidentally skipped a step, but I see that none of my apps were downloaded on the iPhone. Is there a way for me to get the iPhone to download all the apps without me having to manually download one by one?

    IOS 15.0.1 Battery (13 PRO)

    Hello everyone,

    I got my 13 pro since it cames out friday 24th, and I've been really flabbergasted by how amazing it is.
    I was also really surprised by the battery life it had, more than 8h screen on time and 30% battery left.

    I made sure to set it up as a new iphone, and I didn't have much things anyway to import.

    It's been a few days since the 15.0.1 update and I can see/feel that my battery is draining a lot faster, even while I'm not using it. Like it's REALLY noticeable how much percent it drops every few minutes, compared to the first few days where I was shocked about how long it took to drain even 1%.

    I discussed with the Apple support on Twitter, telling me everything is normal etc.. but it shouldn't be normal. At this point everything I have on my phone (I have so little on it ! Few pics and no more than 10 apps from the app store) so everything should've been index'd by now.

    Anyone has the same issue ? How could I improve/solve this?

    Also : I have a weird pink screen when I force restart my phone (volume down/up and turning off). The screen goes pink for like 0.5 seconds and restart. Maybe it's normal maybe it's not, i'm just putting it here.

    Is Find My "Live" only for Family Sharing members?

    I see "live" location for my spouse who is in my Family Sharing Group. The converse is also true she sees my location as "live". For others who have shared their location with me I only see recent locations. I see no differentiation in the iOS 15 Apple Book or even a reference to "live" position in Find My. I tend to believe "live" following only applies to Family Sharing members. Am I correct?

    Is that normal behavior for iOS 15? Sometimes post-processing takes forever (5-10 minutes). Photos look blurry until post-processing finally ends. iPhone 12 mini. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Why are my keyboard haptics and are not working properly?

    I have a 2020 iPhone SE. The haptics, specially keyboard haptics are weird. I have checked sound settings many times. The keyboard sound is very weak, and comes from the earpiece than the speaker. Sometimes the sound would come properly from the speaker for a few seconds, only to go back to the weak one. The other sounds like the one after turning off the screen work just fine. How to fix this?

    Is there a way to have the same app on multiple pages?

    I want to create focuses for like studying, class, personal, etc. and I would like to have separate pages for each of them with the apps and widgets specialized for the particular focus. But for there are some apps that I want to have in multiple focuses but I don't know how or if I even can have the same app on different pages. Does anyone know if it's possible and how to do it?

    Photos duplicated and out of order

    After switching from the iPhone X to iPhone 12, and transferring my data via iCloud, I notice that some of my photos are now out of order, not chronological by date. Some photos are also duplicated, which is frustrating. What could have caused this and what can I do to solve this issue? Why would my photos not be properly ordered by date now? Genius bar did not help at all. TYIA

    DnD/Focus

    I am a tad confused here and need help.

    When setting up DnD/Focus to not receive notifications, it mutes even my alarm and Siri shortcut (shortcut gives me an alert when battery life is at 20 percent).

    My question is: How am I able to have my phone be on DnD/focus, zero notifications, except for my Siri shortcut automation which alarms me if my battery is at 20 percent so I can charge the phone and not lose my xcloud progress.
