    Never have I seen such a broken mess, am I the only one experiencing major issue?

    iPhone 12 Pro Max straight out of the box a month ago

    • Safari has tons of problems, won't load pages for hours, many pages just break down and show a blank screen

    • YouTube won't press the first 2 video, buffer issue

    • General touch issues, touch has no effect on some buttons and needs repeated presses unlike before

    • Connectivity problems with many apps that are just straight slow

    • Unstable Home Screen, entering certain apps and they just freeze up and crash

    And many more..

    Who else has these or other issues?

    In iOS 15, apple added a new 2FA authentication feature inside settings - passwords - website - add verification code.

    It works perfectly well in my experience just like any authenticator apps out there, however it's much more convenient as they are just like entering passwords, it will prompt automatically when you need to enter the code, then do a Face ID or Touch ID verification, system will automatically input the code for you.

    Which means you will never need to open a specific verification app and remember the verification code anymore.

    It's also synced across all your apple devices altogether with your passwords.

    New bookmarks not saving iOS 15

    Since I updated to iOS 15 the day of release, safari will not save any new bookmarks that I add. At first I thought maybe I had gotten distracted while setting one up & just didn't actually save it…but now I know for sure it's just not working correctly. I don't have hundreds of bookmarks or anything either. Maybe 30 total.

    I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 15.0.1. I have killed Safari from running in the background, closed all my tabs, cleared history & website data, & have done a force restart a couple of times.

    audio won’t connect through USB

    ok so i'm not entirely sure if it's an ios problem or not, but it's certainly a problem with my phone. whenever i try to connect to my car via usb, it gets stuck on "reading iPod" and never actually connects (still charges my phone though). i've tried connecting other phones to it and they work just fine. i've also tried connecting to another car and the same thing occurs. i'm on ios 15.1 on an iphone XR. does anybody know how to fix this?

    Notification volume / behaviour in iOS

    Hi there.

    Returning to iOS after a number of years with Android.

    I'm wondering if this behaviour is normal, and whether there is an alternative.

    If I'm on a call, and a notification comes in, iOS seems to lower the call volume drastically, and play the notification sound loudly. This has led to several instances where I've needed to ask my caller to repeat what they said as I momentarily couldn't make out what they said.

    I have resorted to flicking the mute switch when a call comes in, but unless I'm staring at my phone (which I'm often not, i'm always on headphones and doing stuff), this means I will actually miss important notifications like text / emails, etc.

    Is there a setting I've missed? is there something I can do to customise the notification volume level during calls?

    Can you force the default camera app to use the telephoto sensor in low light?

    I'm aware that the camera app tries to decide for itself which lens it thinks is 'best' for low light telephoto photography.

    However there are definitely too many instances where I have tried to use the telephoto lens in low light, and when i switch to it, I get a brief glimpse of what the actual telephoto lens sees before the phone switches to the standard wide angle sensor which objectively looks much worse.

    Does anyone know if you can force the camera app to use the telephoto lens in low light? Have I missed a setting somewhere?

    It's baffling to me that you now get a lot more manual control in the app but still can't seemingly actually choose which lens the phone uses.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    "Hide My Email" email. What am I missing.

    For the life of me I can't get "Hide My Email" working for the Email App. I'm on iOS 15, I created a "Hide My" address but when I go to send a new message I am not offered any way to override my return address. I think I am suppose to see a "return" address option which if selected should give me a list of possible return addresses but I don't get this. What's the secret? Any insight appreciated. J

    Family Sharing Payment

    I am the family organizer for my family but it I just added a cousin to the plan so I can share Apple Music with them. However, We learned that my credit card is linked to their account as well now. They bought an app the other day and my credit card was charged instead of theirs. We checked the payment setting on their phone and it says that that is the family shared payment and won't let us remove it, but my phone says purchases are only family shared to my immediate family members. Will subscriptions they buy ie: iCloud storage will be charged to my card as well? How can I stop my card from being shared to my cousin but still to my immediate family?

    Does setting up a new iPhone using quick start automatically wipe the old device?

    I recently set up my new iPhone 13, and I'm planning to sell my old iPhone 11. I set the 13 up with Quick Start, no plugging in required. Did that automatically wipe my 11 and turn off Find My iPhone? I want to make sure it's wiped before I send it in.

    So on iOS 15 (I'm not sure if it was on 14 I don't remember) if you swipe down on the little navigation bar at the bottom it puts the app on half your screen and then the other half is blurry. What is the point of this? Is there something I'm missing?

    WLAN call can’t be turned off

    I recently turned on WLAN call on my iPhone after a suggestion of my provider. Since the I have a way higher battery consumption. So I wanted to turn it off. I toggled the switch and selected my network but now it's still visible in the control panel. Does anyone has the same issue?

    5G on low power mode

    For me, toggling low power mode forces a 5G connection? While disabling it, it goes back to LTE? Shouldn't 5G be disabled on low power mode? (iPhone 13 pro max)

    Siri is not performing any functions at all, iOS 15 on iPhone 12 mini

    I updated to iOS 15 a couple days ago. I got Siri to "turn on low power mode" and after that literally any request to Siri results in "Sorry something went wrong, please try again". Can't do anything as simple as open an app or check the weather and also can't do offline tasks like creating reminders.

    I turned off low power mode, I have tried the common airplane mode suggestion, and I have tried turning Siri off and going through the set up again. None of these methods have had an impact on this issue.

    Very frustrated as I have come to enjoy using Siri to organize my life. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
