She seemed super convinced that I must have them, which kind of freaked me out, because like I said, I don't. I have no idea why they would be showing up as being at my house. I haven't found anyone's AirPods and brought them home, and I certainly haven't stolen any. Now I'm concerned that she could go to the police and accuse me of stealing them because they look like they're here. THEY'RE NOT. This is giving me fairly intense anxiety. Help please! This isn't just an issue with the built in app as I've confirmed the same with third party apps. My Note 9 focused almost instantly when I'd tap to focus. What gives? [link] [comments]  |

I want to get rid of them but the whole system that they are saved in seems convoluted and 2/3rds of my rather limited disk is taken up with "other" which I understand to be cache files. | Any portable monitors that will work with a 2009 Mac Mini? Posted: 02 Oct 2021 09:32 PM PDT I own a 2009 Mac Mini A1283. I use it as a server to run some Mac-only apps. I don't have it hooked up to a monitor full time, and it's in a physical location where I can not keep a full size monitor. However, occasionally I need to service this machine, especially when it randomly disconnects from the internet. At moments like these, I need to hook it up to a monitor. I don't want to lug a monitor over every time this happens. Are there any portable monitors that will work with this machine? I tried using a portable HP monitor that connects via USB. That does not work. I've also tried alternative solutions like Chrome Remote Desktop. That's fine except that the times I need to service this machine are when it disconnects from the internet, making Remote Desktop impossible. I was using my phone scrolling through Facebook when I went the check my battery. I have a widget to display battery level so I quickly swiped to the home page when my phone froze completely for around 2-4 minute. My hotspot to my ps4 was still working but no response… I double tapped the back which I have mapped to turn off the phone and nothing happened the clock wasn't ticking over either and my nightstand was. I tried activating Siri with both the power button and voice activation and nothing happened. I attempted to completely turn it of using the off and volume button but nothing happened still. I tried plugging it in when about 30 seconds later it turned back on after showing a small loading screen similar to when completely turning the phone off but I didn't get a screen displaying the apple logo. The upgrade process was surprisingly issue free, however, I now cannot click and hold a file, and use 4 fingers to swipe between spaces to drag the file to. I am able to do so using my built in trackpad on my Macbook, but not on my Magic Trackpad 2. I have attempted all troubleshooting I could logically do. Is this a known issue? Posted: 02 Oct 2021 07:49 PM PDT Hello all, currently looking for any help or potential solutions on updating an old Apple Watch (Series 2) to WatchOS 6. I used to have an iPhone that I daily drove with the watch, before switching to Android and now back. Is there a way to update the OS to only version 6? A family member has a series 2 as well which still runs fine on OS version 6 even with a phone on iOS 15. When going to set up the watch through the phone, the only thing that happens is it brings me to a software update to install software for the watch (presumably the latest WatchOS), which doesn't work since the series 2 is only supported up until WatchOS 6. During the set-up process, I was asked to enter the password for about 5 different Apple IDs in order to be able to download iTunes purchases made on those IDs. I do not recognize any of the IDs (they are all email addresses). The only thing I can think of is that I do have some music that was downloaded from torrents to my Mac and then transferred to my iPhone. Is Quick Start simply reading some of the metadata attached to those files and figuring out that they were purchased elsewhere? I sure hope that's the case. [link] [comments]  |

Now that I'm trying to reinstall the operating system, I have this strange problem where the progress bar immediately loads about 7/8 of the way through and then doesn't move. The estimate time for the update is also stuck at 2 hours 21 minutes. I've canceling the update, restarting the laptop and trying to do the update again, but the same problem happens, anyone know what's up? [link] [comments]  |
