| Want to reset the password of my old old notes Posted: 12 Oct 2021 04:10 PM PDT Basically I have really old locked notes that have a lot of important information in them, I reset my password and I'm confused why the new one isn't working, until I find out that the ones with the old password aren't affected. I'm so mad at my younger self and my hint is a literal nicki minaj lyric, is there anyway I can recover the old password or are my notes forever locked? [link] [comments]  |

| ICloud shows 10GB of space but says too full to upload 19 photos? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 10:07 PM PDT Hi, I'm confused. I got a message in Photos today saying that it can no longer upload any photos or video because iCloud is now full (and also that 19 photos weren't backed up). But when I went to settings>iCloud, it shows that I still have almost a full 10GB of open/free space left. If this is the case, why is Photos reporting that iCloud is so full it can't upload a few photos? Is there any way to fix this (other than upgrading to the next iCloud+ tier)? | Sound and haptics notifications?? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 06:21 PM PDT So i recently got a new iPhone, specifically an iPhone SE. Nothing is really too different EXPECT everyday I receive a notification saying I've "exceeded the recommended limit for audio exposure". And well yes, I do listen to loud music, and it's concerned over how loud my music is, it's honestly more annoying than it is helpful. I'm not dumb and I do know when I should turn it down. Skipping to the point, is there anyway I can get rid of the notification? I looked it up on google and it said I should be able to disable it through the sound & haptics setting but there's no disable notification button. Ive tried disabling health notifications (because I don't use the health app in general) and it did nothing. Any other alternatives I should try? [link] [comments]  |

But I use my phone a lot for youtube, anime, movies and video. I'd love to know if this is big enough for watching media or if I should go for the normal sized 12. | Safari opens a new "untitled" tab every single time I download and it's driving me insane. Posted: 12 Oct 2021 03:03 PM PDT I have tried every conceivable tactic to stop this from happening and I cannot for the life of me figure it out. It is a plague to my workflow. I am an editor and download about 30-50 things an hour. Every single time I download something (mostly from Storyblocks, envatos, Epidemic sound, etc...) a new "untitled" tab opens and then I am automatically sent to the new blank "untitled" tab and then I have to navigate back to the original site I was on. It's been happening for years through about 3 operating systems now and I have tried everything imaginable in my safari settings. help? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 12 Oct 2021 03:01 PM PDT Hi all, I've been having an issue where I connect my phone (iPhone SE 1st Gen) using a usb cable to my pc (windows 10) and it doesn't recognise my phone. My phone still charges when I connect it but it doesn't appear in iTunes or come up with the "choose what to do with iPhone" message. I am convinced it is a problem with my phone as it use to connect properly to my pc but now it doesn't connect to my pc or any other computers, Mac included, and when I connected my brothers phone (iPhone 6s) to my pc it worked properly. | Posted: 12 Oct 2021 07:09 AM PDT Hi, I ordered a new MacBook Air a while back and it was supposed to have been delivered last Tuesday. It got sent directly from China with UPS and the last I can see from it in tracking, it was in Louisville, KY (a couple hours from the delivery address in Lexington) The first thing that seemed strange about the whole thing was the repeated import scans on the tracking page. Then, finally, it said Import Scan - On the way... that was 3 days ago and there haven't been any scans since? (The investigation in the picture was me that filed a claim with UPS) I would just be patient and wait a bit longer, but I need the computer (at the latest) the 23rd of October since I am flying back to Denmark on that day (having it delivered to my mom in the US since Apple products are expensive in Denmark) Is there anyone who has experienced this sort of thing before? What are my chances of actually seeing this computer EDIT: So I just got an email from Apple out of the blue that they are sending a new one arriving Oct 27-29. I have done a complete backup (numerous times, Mac OS as well as Windows) and the backup seems to complete as normal but when I try to restore another phone from the backup it says "restore not complete backup corrupt". I have restored a previous backup from the same phone being backed up, to the same phone being restored, without issue. Both phones're running 15.0.1. [link] [comments]  |

| Sharing entire albums with other people Posted: 12 Oct 2021 04:51 PM PDT Okay so my dad takes a lot of pictures with his phone, and recently I have wanted to be able to view them on my phone, but I don't want to go through the trouble to indivdually pick out the photos I want him to share with me. I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to just select all the photos in his camera roll to make a new shared album, but as far as I've been able to figure out you have to select the photos you want to put in the shared album individually. I can't even find a "select all" button in the Photos app like there used to be (we both use iOS 15 btw). Is there a way to select all of the photos in an album to share like on a computer, or do you have to select the photos you want to share individually? Also if it isn't really possible with apple without just manually selecting specific photos is there another way through like google photos for example? [link] [comments]  |
