[Tutorial] install iPhone stock apps Translate and Calculator on iPad Posted: 17 Aug 2021 06:59 PM PDT For somewhat reasons Apple doesn't allow to install iPhone stock apps calculator (com.apple.calculator) and translate (com.apple.translate) on iPad. But both apps can be transfered to iPad quite easy and works perfectly Step 1. You need repack each app on your iPhone in IPA file. In Filza go to Apps Manager, search required app and press "i" in circle. In window opened press "Bundle". Copy calculator.app or SequoiaTranslator.app. Create folder "Payload" without quotation marks in Documents or Downloads and copied respective app inside Payload. For translator app open file info.plist and set "LSRequiresIPhoneOS" to NO. For calculator do nothing. In Filza - long press on Payload and choose Create ZIP Rename ZIP to calculator.ipa or translator.ipa respectively (or whateveryouwant.ipa) Transfer repacked IPAs to IPad to /var/mobile Install appinst from Karen repo In terminal run "appinst calculator.ipa" without quotation marks (do not install these ipas with Filza) If you use NoMoreeSmallApps on iPad - blacklist calculator. I tried install iPhone stock Weather.app in the same way but it will not install on iPad for unknown reason. I use 11PM as source and IPad Pro 2020 as target. Both 14.3 unc 6.1.1 If you do not have iPhone to get IPAs - try iTunes 12.6.5 (that has AppStore) and download ipas on your PC. [Tip] If you can’t download the latest Netflix update on iOS 11, 12 or 13 Posted: 17 Aug 2021 02:58 AM PDT The latest Netflix update (14.2.0) broke the downloading process likely due to a code signing certificate issue caused by decreasing minimum required iOS version to iOS 11. The app installs fine on iOS 14 but not on iOS 11-13 as I mentioned. On iOS 10 and earlier, it installs the latest compatible versions for each iOS normally. If you're jailbroken, install [[AppStore++]] or [[AppAdmin]] (+ [[AFixToAppAdmin]] on iOS 12.2+) and install the ACTUAL latest compatible version as follows: iOS 11.x: 11.49.0 iOS 12.x: 12.51.3 iOS 13.x: 13.38.0 P.S. I have reported the bug to Netflix and asked them to pull the latest update from App Store servers, and the compatibility of the next update be increased to iOS 14 and up to prevent further impact to downloaders. EDIT: This appears to be affecting several other apps that had updates published since Sunday. I have reported the issue to Apple and asked them to pull the affected updates and reissue them with the previous requirements to prevent them from impacting users. After finding out the latest compatible versions for other apps, here they are: For Twitter, use these: iOS 11.x: 8.25.1 iOS 12.x and 13.0-13.3.1: 8.61 Instagram: iOS 11.x: 172.0 Spotify: iOS 11.x: 8.5.72 Google Translate: iOS 11.x and 12.0-12.1.4: 6.14.0 If I spot more affected apps, I'll continue editing the post to add them. [Help][Question] AudioRecorder XS iOS 14.2 Checkra1n jailbroken iPhone X Posted: 18 Aug 2021 01:30 AM PDT Ok so i have this tweak install and its working perfectly. I think i already know the answer but thought its best i ask i was mid way a phone call on Whatsapp which was being recorded, it was abit of a tense convo and i totally didnt see my phone battery was low and it died 44 mins into the convo, when ive restarted my phone and checked it didnt actually save that recording and the call didnt show in my phone call list either. Is there any way to recover the data that was being recorded, surely it must have been being stored somewhere even as raw data. Ive used Filza to browse the all the directories for it but cant seem to find any such data. Anyone with abit more knowledge able to point me in the right direction? [Question] Is there a downside to deleting photos straight from Filza Posted: 17 Aug 2021 04:18 PM PDT Want to save space, so it's easiest to open Filza and sort the media by file size, is there a downside to just deleting right from the directory or should I be doing it from camera roll? [Help] Amber tweak not working correctly Posted: 17 Aug 2021 04:00 PM PDT Just like a couple of other people Amber has not been working for a while. It just stopped working out of the blue. I can still switch between orange and yellow in the CC menu, but the actual color of the flashlight stays the normal white color. [Help] h3lix IPA can't be installed to a 4th gen iPad with Xcode Posted: 17 Aug 2021 08:07 PM PDT So I tried to use Xcode to sideload the h3lix jailbreak app onto a 4th generation iPad I had laying around. After re-signing the IPA with iOS App Signer, I've tried to sideload the app via Xcode with the instructions provided on this subreddit's wiki.
