- AirPlay will not override what is already playing on appleTV even when given permission.
- I wonder how much longer we’re going to be waiting for HDR to work in YoutubeTV, YouTube and the Fox Sports app. The hardware has been out long enough, come on. If I recall I caught a game on FuboTV and it actually switched into HDR. I know it didn’t in my 2017 ATV4K.
- 2 versions of remote app on phone?
- Frequency of sales on TV shows and Movies?
- YouTube App is not loading after turning on Apple TV. Stays on circular loading forever. Anyone else having this issue? Any fixes available besides restarting the whole thing again? Could it be because it’s trying to connect? But when I leave it for 5 minutes it’s the same

You know, the extras you get when you buy a movie? Posted: 29 Aug 2021 07:05 PM PDT Hi everybody, I've been having issues recently with my 4k apple tv where the audio is around 2-3 seconds delayed behind the visuals. This never used to be an issue up until around a month ago, where now it's completely hit an miss. Of course it happens when I sit down and want to start a show or movie. With sport I don't mind. Sometimes it will correct itself when I come back to it a few hours later, but even if I reset and restart the device, I have the same thing. My TV is a Vizio. When I took this to apple they just said apple tv are weird and as I was 1 month out of my warranty period I'd need to buy a new one. This seems insane. Any advice? Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

| Anyone have an issue when streaming using the Apple TV+ website? Posted: 29 Aug 2021 05:35 PM PDT Using a PC and google chrome browser. I've never had an issue before but when trying to watch Ted Lasso just now i clicked to start the episode and it came up with just the time bar and audio, but the episode thumbnail stays up and there's no picture. Immediately we noticed the image quality was subpar and restarted the AppleTV in an effort to resolve the issue. That didn't help and we watched what looked like 480p quality. Today I sampled some 4K DV content I have via iTunes and the same issue was present. Using other apps like Netflix and Vudu I'm not having any issues. Posted: 29 Aug 2021 04:39 PM PDT Hi guys, I'm trying to solve a problem with extreme color banding with my Apple TV 4K (2021 model) playing high-bitrate 4k HDR remuxes from plex app (with an LG CX). It's particularly noticeable in the backgrounds of animated films with lots of sky, water, etc. And I know it's not a source or display issue because the videos look great when played from the built-in LG plex app. Seems like there's some kind of HDMI data transmission setting causing it, I just can't figure it out. I have tried changing the HDMI output from ycbr to RGB High and RGB Low, but none make a difference. It's on RGB Low for now. Other settings are Format: 4K SDR, Match Content: Range & Frame Rate. "Check HDMI Connection" test passes. I have seen that having the HDMI input labeled as "PC" can cause this issue with sources that don't support FRL (like Apple TV), but my HDMI input is not labeled as PC. I have tried messing with various other settings on the CX, but haven't gotten anywhere. Has anyone else run into this issue with the Atv and CX? Thank you for any help! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Atmos content on Apple TV+ is crackling. Posted: 29 Aug 2021 12:25 PM PDT As the title suggests, I'm getting bad crackling noises with Apple TV+ Atmos content. I'm using the 2021 Apple TV 4K, JBL Bar 9.1, and a Sony A8G OLED. My Apple TV is plugged directly to the HDMI in of the soundbar with the bar connected to the TV via ARC. I've tried new cables and the same thing happens. The funny thing is is that no other Atmos app gives me this issue such as HBO Max or Disney+. Has anyone experienced anything like this? | AT&T TV/ Directv APP "Zoom" display issues on Apple tv 4K Posted: 29 Aug 2021 08:26 AM PDT Using an Apple tv 4K (2021) on a new OLED LG tv. All apps display great, but the AT&T/Directv stream sometimes switches to a "zoom" mode where you are only seeing a partial screen. All settings the same & have tried Match frame rate etc. Anyone else having this issue with that APP? I don't want to have to switch to one of the AT&T Tv boxes as the sound to my Atmos sound bar is best out of the Apple tv. LG doesn't offer a built in AT&T tv app. [link] [comments]  | ||

Already did a factor reset, that does not change anything. Also since this update the remote of my appleTV 4K stop working, when I reset only the new remote seems to work (TV ask me to click the central button... which is absent of the old remote.
