| Driver’s License to Apple Wallet?? Posted: 03 Aug 2021 03:11 PM PDT Okay at some point I had added my drivers license to my Apple wallet. It only showed the state, number, license type, photo and barcode of the ID. I removed it since it was expired so I could add my new one. But now I can't? Everything I've read online says that IDs in the wallet will only be available on iOS 15… but I've had mine in there for a long time now. Can someone explain? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Yet another iOS vs Android thread Posted: 04 Aug 2021 07:27 AM PDT I own three Apple devices: a MacBook, an iPad and an iPhone. I'm tempted to switch to Android as my main phone OS. My iPad is my work device and I would like to use my phone more, but the battery life on the 2nd gen iPhone SE is just terrible. Especially after owning it for a year. So my concern is this. Are there good workarounds to do things like instantly sharing files with my iPad? Or connecting Bluetooth earbuds? Or even copying text on one device and pasting on the other? Are these things even possible between iOS and Android? I know you can insta pair some Beats earbuds to both iOS devices and Android devices, but that will limit my options to just Beats. Thought it would improve massively (previous one was at 77%), but doesn't seem to have. Checked the battery app and getting around 4hrs / 4.5hrs screen on time. Seems like a waste of £50. Posted: 04 Aug 2021 05:55 AM PDT —I flaired this as Support as I'm not sure which one is appropriate here— I'm in the process of moving out for college, but I initially set up my Apple account with my mom's email. She's mentioned before that she received emails whenever I download an app (or music) on my phone and I don't want her to. I see there's a difference between "Apple ID email" and "notification email," I think I changed the notification email to my own but it's not letting me change the Apple ID to the same one. Immediately after locking I will attempt to change the volume, and it will either jump to almost max volume, or completely muted. It happens with the speaker, AirPods, and other headphones. Posted: 04 Aug 2021 01:45 AM PDT Problem - So I put my phone on the other side of the room when I got to bed so I have to get up and turn if off in the morning. However I have worked out that I can, in my sleep, shout "Hey Siri, stop!" and it turns my alarm off and I got back to sleep for an hour or so. I've tried to create a Shortcut Personal Automation a few mins before my alarm that turns on Airplane Mode, however, in a strange set of events, "Hey Siri" still works and it stops my alarm even with Airplane Mode on. I've had a look at other shortcut methods but there's no disable siri, or anything I can think that would make sure I can't shout Siri. When I get sent YouTube videos from people or click on a link instead of opening it in the YouTube app(like it usually did) it instead opens it in the browser which I do not want.
